I listened to his whole speech broadcasted from the University of Hartford, yesterday evening while cooking dinner. It was like listening to a breath of fresh air, I could close my eyes and hear a person talking with honesty, feeling and just plain old sense. I was so happy he kept his promise to Newtown, CT, to all of us, really, the one's the polls in his speech pointed out, really are the 90 percent of US citizens who want common sense to prevail. I didn't think of President Obama as a Democrat, I thought of him as the man who is taking on the tiger, and is not afraid.

Mark my words too, about Dick Blumenthal, he loves a good uphill fight.

Surprisingly, no one could bother to look this speech up? Not even BE4U? He mentioned your particular obstructionists, too.

I don't usually make it a point to listen to political speeches, usually I come away feeling they just made empty promises telling constituents what they want to hear, and their sincerity, just did not ring true. I dare anyone to say, if you listened and watched this speech, that it is a sound that did not ring true; then shout it out so we can hear you.

No, I don't listen to anything he says.  LOL

Why get all worked up and ruin an otherwise great day because some 500 idiots in Congress and a traitor in the WH think when they speak everyone has to listen.

NOT !!!

I'd rather be Rick Roll'd 24/7

LMAO

Speech is what he's good at and that's about it. He promised change, he kept his promise, though it's not quite the change many of us expected.  But then, I have to be honest here, the alternatives were even worse.  We're just screwed.

Thumbs UpAny one actually listen to it? Hmm? Lol that would be a big fat NO!

Just as well, things are getting done without your input is all, because of that personality trait. Slowly but surely, wins the race while the good ol boys sip coffee in the Cabelas parking lot.

I am just glad that as long as Mr Obama is fussing over gun control which he can't do anything about anyway, he is not screwing up something  really important.

Look out next election...LOL
Obama's gonna take down the whole party before he's out of office.

MIcaho,

You don't really believe that yourself do you? Gave me a good chuckle! What with all the 2nd Amendment bellyaching and NRA bullying, I think you and others, like-minded, didn't think it would get this far! And you and I both know... this is only the beginning. See, that's been the scariest part.... the NRA was always successful at preventing a "beginning"... but don't look now!

See what no one wants to acknowledge is the Beginning, is followed by a Middle, and then an End.

Guess who is prepared for the    L O N G    H A U L?

Have you any idea about the nature of Dick Blumenthal? He's going to be a National Name..... Please, do remind me, and tell me about what I said when he defeats Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for Prez.... (a future vision of mine? LOL? ... a random thought? ... we shall see....? lol)
