Well they call an elephant painting with a painbrush art, an orangutang finger painting art. A painting of a white canvas that had red paint in a balloon thrown against it art. No accounting for taste.........

I have to say, there is a certain charm in the choice of subject matter and composition. And really to attempt a self portrait for such a self taught artist, is truly ambitious in scope.
There is no doubt these paintings will become prized in the future for their quaint expression of the modern "Americana".
They sure make me smile.
