Can anyone tell me the most reasonable way to ship from Berlin, Germany into the United States? Every airline has been a minimum of $500 for a 10 week pup. Thanks for any help!!

Hey, U pronbably won't find it better. Try KLM, however if U use a broker of any kind which u should with customs it can still be spendy. I just imported 2 pups from Belgium and since they road in same crate and because of who we were dealing with it came to like $600 total (300 a pup if u break it down) but wiht 1 pup the lowest u'll find is probably 450-500 Good luck Vereinigte

Usually have to use Barthco or Gradlyn Kennels. It's now around 600-700 euro to ship an adult, so I guess 500 isn't too bad. You might want to see if they can ship from the Netherlands instead. It's cheaper thru DTC out of amsterdam. website is dtciat.com has contact info if you can ship from there instead.

Hi, Thanks for all the great info.. We tryed Gradlyn, it is $870 US. Northwest was the most reasonable, but they only ship out of Frankfurt. I will check with dtciat.com!!!

My puppy came from Frankfurt to New York via GK !! the breeder only charged me 400Euros for shipping an 8 week old. So that's a little over $500.US, right? Depending on the final destination - there are issues too -- I don't know if it's the breeder or Customs that won't allow connecting flights -- you have to pick up at initial P.O.E. for Customs - then you can re-book to get where you're going - I know people in California who had to fly to New York to do this in order to get their dogs - first to NY - then to Calif. I have imported two pups to CA. They came from Frankfurt direct to LA on Lufthansa. Both were shipped through Grandlyn's and was worth the money that was spent, both arrived in great shape. You might want to check and ship it out of Frankfurt instead.

I am located in Belgium and have used all available shippers in Holland, Belgium and Germany. Gradlyn is the best and most professional. They are worth the extra $. I have shipped dogs to the Middle East and the Far East with Gradlyn and all customers commented on the excellent service given by Gradlyn.
