Micaho,

I know they have state of the art camera's, too. But you have to understand....those wouldn't be timely enough ... if some other sick idiot where to ... place a loaded backpack against a gym door? Whatever deviant thinkers think... who knows?  Who is looking at camera's when those school doors open?  And now, I'm thinking as a parent, NO, we aren't going to take that chance. Not with what these kids have already been through.

I just know, I didn't even want to stop and take the picture!  I snapped the shot as I was moving! I didn't want to even be seen turning into the drive! I think that is why the cop is there 24 hrs a day.

Bee, " a gun library" ? you can go to a shooting range and pay to fire a gun.
I have a better idea for your tax: tax the parents who choose to have kids for their protection.... nobody made you have a kid, why should the community be penalized for what you created? I pay public school taxes and don't have a kid in school. People making kids should be responsible for their kids' education, housing, nutrition, clothing, health, and safety.

If a person can't afford to house, cloth, educate, feed, and provide a safe environment for their kids, they shouldn't have them.
Use your bloody Mary money to chip in for security for your kid's school. If all the parents put their smoke, booze, lottery, bingo, etc. money in the kitty for school security, the people who don't have kids wouldn't have to do it for them.

LOL@Joan

I think the gun owners and ammo users need to pay their share. It is their responsibility since they are exercising their right. And they should take responsibility for allowing so many gun ownership abusers to slip through the system. Should want to, really. Why wouldn't you? Too damn selfish. That is why.

by joanro on 20 April 2013 - 12:04

Hold on bee bee, you're calling me "too damn selfish" ? Is that what you are accusing me of? Let me make VERY clear to you...I am NOT "responsible for allowing ANY gun ownership abusers to slip through the system". I have absolutely no authority to prevent abusers from owning guns or bombs or even carjacking to commit crimes. You appear to be the selfish one one here, declaring all who have NOTHING to do with what happened in your town to take responsibility for your mental instability and lack of coping, in order to give you vindication for the actions of a psychopath.

Beetree

You posted Minthunt was bias. I say you are the biased one. The socialists, as yourself believe everyone should fund you and your your belief system. Support yourself educated your own kids, and you should not own a gun. You need to wake up and smell the coffee, and stop trying to dictate everyone life. Vote for freedom or move to jolly ol England and enjoy their gun control, ( oh shit it does not work there either) and they have banned everything excepted stupid people. That is not to say everyone in England is stupid, but that place has sucked sense before the 15 hundreds. Our forefathers moved here because of that kind of crap. Maybe it is time for you and your kind to get on a boat.

Nice post Paul. Tongue Smile

by beetree on 20 April 2013 - 13:04

Paul,
LOL, I am far from a socialist. That is hysterical. I am telling it like it is. I belong here as much as any save the Native Americans. Maybe you need to buy yourself an island and enjoy the type of freedom you blabber on about, just so you can have a military styled arsenal for your pleasure.

by beetree on 20 April 2013 - 13:04

Yes, Joan, among other things you are too damn selfish to think about how your type of freedom doesn't fit in this ever shrinking world. It will be a stretch for you, because you'd have to think about what life will be like for somebody else's kids. I know, why care at all?

by joanro on 20 April 2013 - 13:04

Bee, every time you post, you expose the depth of you ignorance and bias. What do you define as MY "type of freedom"? God you come across as a narrow minded bigot. Btw, this world is " ever shrinking" because of people like you.

by beetree on 20 April 2013 - 13:04

Define freedom for us, all Joan. You are the beacon here.
