 For me there is no dilemma, the bile doesn't give me the impression that it was inspired by a all knowing and all powerful being. GSD Admin's post very clearly shows verses in which man used God as an inspiration or as fear based motivator to commit unthinkable acts against others in a quest for power. God's "chosen" people that fought holy wars in the Old Testament by today's standard would be labeled fundamentalists and most likely terrorists. If it wasn't for the philosophers that wrote the New Testament and the invention of Jesus, we would have Christian's running around blowing people up with suicide vests.



btw, I still stand behind my original post: Atheists are vile, vicious, no respect for their fellow man, moral less, backbiting, tactless people. The atheism religion has NO foundation for 'right' 'wrong' 'good' 'bad' or values/morals so its not surprising.

Please do not bring my name up in your non-sense. I agree with most here, there are better places than a dog forum to discuss religion. Try your church. I have self control and have stayed away from these one sided religious right wing puke fests and I do not appreciate you dragging my name into any of your posts. I see a ton of hypocrisy in this thread lately and I want nothing to do with several of the members posting on this thread.

So are you's  saying that I was all wrong for spending years on the street helping and preaching to
street people?  The guy that broke my jaw is now a pastor at a good size church.
Was my broken jaw for  naught? was my witnessing wrong because yous' dont agree with my style?
What about the J.W. young people that were disowned by their parents and kicked out of the house.
I welcomed them into my own home to stay while my wife and I comforted them,and showed them
the way through Christ.  Have any of you's ever brought a J.W. out of their abdominal cult.
Has  a Hare Khristna ever ran at you,and kneeled at your feet and tell you that Khritna was in need of you.
that happened years ago after leaving an afternoon service at Time Sqaure Church in New York.
I was born for this duty,what were you's born for?  Why go after someone that God called,and has the guts
to do things,that you's dont have the guts to do.

lUKE 14:23  Jesus instructed His followers that they should go out everywhere a COMPEL people to come into the house of worship.
Jesus discouraged superficial discipleship THAT COST NOTHING.
GOD WILL NOT TOLERATE LAME EXCUSES  Luke 14:34,35   Professed christians who are not totally committed to Christ are no better than salt that hast lost its flavor.  We all must reflect on our level of commitment in light of this comparison. Nothing less total
commitment is acceptable to Christ.
Thats the way it is folks,every thing I did was for the glory of Christ,it sure wasn't a Sunday School picnic but   I would do it all over again if I was younger.
