I don't see any reason to charge the parents; any penalty pales in comparison to what they are experiencing. It's reasonable however, for some people to question their competence for the sake of the remaining child.

Tough one, I have to agree.  What's best for the remaining child should be weighed against their competence.

Oh, they should be charged. Just maybe not get jail time. Only because, I agree taking the remaining child's parents away is not justice. That is just a burden to society and cruel to the child. However, this is not a simple accident. Not when a parent, purposely thinks they are so capable and careless with the idea of freedom to mean,  to own and distribute arms to their own child makes good for a 2nd Amendment defense. I bet that plays into it. Sick bastards.

Pathetic and tragic. Tragic and pathetic. I don't know, pick which should go first.

 

It's a lot of fun to decide the fate of strangers on an internet forum is it not?
It's so nice to sit in judgement not knowing any real facts as if we had any right to judge in the first place.
Good thing it's just a pass time, and doesn't really impact the real people involved.
