Either way, predestination is found in the Bible and it is a doctrine that we must accept. So, to find which view you think is most biblical, study the above list of verses in their context and see if you think that God predestines according to the expected future human choices or not.

Study to show yourself approved.................ask the Holy Spirit to lead you to find out how to interpret the BIBLE....this is pretty simple above...DO NOT TWIST GODS WORDS.................................

DO NOT ACCEPT MENS INTREPRETATION ALONE....

Yes, predestination is in the Bible.  I also agree to study and show yourself approved.  When I first became a Christian, I was taught a lot of Sproul, now after studying, I do not agree with him on some (not all) issues. I was taught the rapture, and I no longer believe that either.
So yes, study yourself!!   If you do correct others, do it with love and out of LOVE.  Not to make yourself appear smarter or better.   If we don't have love, we don't have Christ.

Shtals, and Gouda's posting do not bother me at all.  The Bible says all scripture is good for teaching.  Hell is used as many times in the Bible as Heaven, and to God is real and horrible.  I don't believe many speak of it enough, especially Churches!

Before we post, we should ask ourselves why we are really posting... I know I've decided against it many times after asking myself that.

Hi J.R.

Lets look a little closer to the scriptures you have mentioned, starting with  Acts 4:28
Actually you should have included verse 27.

The were all convinced that God was in control of events which He had anticipated

Romans 8:29-30.
Again you left out the preceding verse.
God causes all things to work for spiritual good and ultimate salvation of those who respond to Him in love.
THE CALLED INCLUDES ALL PEOPLE see john 3:16. Those who respond according to His purpose.
We are confident that nothing can hurt Gods people so deeply that God cannot turn it around for their good.
Here is the reason for the confidence expressed in verse 28. Gods eternal plan will be accomplished.
He did not predestinate who would be saved, but He predestined that those who believed would be made holy like His Son.
He called them to himself JUSTIFIED,forgave their sins. GLORIFIED provided them to share eternal life with Him.

1CORR.2:7    may I add Y.R. YOU SHOULD HAVE ADDED VERSE  9 ALSO

A mystery before Chris came,Gods plan of salvation was hidden. But now is known to believers and better understood
by them the more they grow in the Lord.We should be grateful GOD ORDAINED THIS PLAN FOR OUR SALVATION VERSE 9.

I'll get to the verses later.

Atheists are vile, vicious, no respect for their fellow man, moral less, backbiting, tactless people. The atheism religion has NO foundation for 'right' 'wrong' 'good' 'bad' or values/morals so its not surprising.

Romans 2:14-16
For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves. Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Shtal,

Look at this, the pot is calling the kettle black. Your little rant should have included all nonbelievers, not just atheists. This is what you really believe isn't it?  You speak of respect, morals and accountability, but in reality you're severely deficient in all three categories. You spout off verse after verse and don't even realize you fail to practice what you preach. Shtal, you are one of the most intolerant, hypocritical and self righteous people I have ever encountered. If there truly is a judgment made at the end of our lives, you should be more concerned with your own actions, because from where I sit you are a sorry excuse of a person.

I'm not perfect, but I live honestly and treat most people with respect and I try not to interfere in the lives of others. In case you haven't noticed, I've only singled out you and cheese boy with my posts. It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out why, the sad part is the answer will always allude you.

That's due in part because it is generally mischaracterized as persecution for "preaching the gospel". This twisted perspective actually provides the positive reinforcement of perceived persecution. In this scheme, the rest of us (the other Christians) are simply complacent, as we continually fail to beat the Bible over the heads of those non-believers who want no part of it. This behavior, is un-Biblical. While I welcome discussion among believers in the realm of theology and doctrine, I do not believe this is the proper forum for that, as it does far more harm than good.

I AGREE Carlin, but I also will not sit idly by and not offer a small few words to lead the thought to a more easily choice of context

GOD is not happy if we are ashamed to speak HIS name  so I being a long time follower and do enjoy discussing with Kindness and patience the WORD and what It should make us want to do in our lives...NOT using a FRYING PAN to do it, I love to share scripture that captures my curiosity and makes me go read more, find more links and seek more ways to make my life better,Got TO WORK ON THE me FIRST AND THEN pass it on<<<<<<<

ONE OF  the songs I use to get ask to sing over and over was    I KNOW WHO MY REDEEMER IS
AND I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW......AND I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY FUTURE.....

Examples of what a chrisitians life should be can be shown by what they say  do and that special drawing they possess to ask for more help and find the thousands of facts in the BIBLE that will keep you reading and hoping we can improve our days better each day than they start out each morning..SOME days turn to unhappy events early in the morning so if you arrn yourself with lots of   DEODORANT from the scripture you can make it to Lunch and eat a DAISY salad and give thanks we make it to dinner...Eat a day full of proverbs and happy verses and study an hour every evening to learn about the HISTORY of the WORD

TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE FOR ME ....

I do not think a nice discussion about GOd is any detrimental thing on a dog forum...after all GOD made the dog to be a friend ,companion and a helper of our life's journey thru a world of chaios so why not keep GOD in that little dog and let him see you as his ALPHA  ..after all we are all mimics of our FATHER,,,,both  earthly and HEAVENLY

THANKS CARLIN.....WISE WORDS

SPIRITUALLY LED AND ALWAYS OFFERED WITH kindness
Desert DOG   where are you ??? ;Snowbound??
