Not one single person here knows how they would feel if one of their loved ones was killed by a looney tune who obtained a gun at a gun show without a background check. Be as cavalier as you want, thump  your chests, beat up the US government,  and tell yourselves that you would still be against any more gun control, you still don't have a clue what affect that could have on you and your family. I don't  understand why anyone who can legally obtain a weapon fears background checks.

Prager, if you don't find life in the US fits your definition of gun freedom, you can always move back to  your native homeland.  Try getting that into YOUR head.

Moons, smoking is the major cause of lung cancer.   Frankly, I hope you never stop for many reasons, one is  that the tax money paid for those cancer sticks  provides kids with pre-school programs. Ironically, while committing suicide and/or comdemning yourself to COPD, you are doing the thing that you hate the most - supporting a federal project.

Why is it that it's never enough to just say you don't like Obama's poliicies instead of resorting to third grade name calling? You are lucky to live in this country, otherwise some here could be sitting behind bars as  political prisoners. Using showers and tats to refute a poster who doesn't agree is really offensive, Joanro.

Blitzen, i'm not intending to "refute a poster who doesn't agree". I'm stating the logical outcome for this country heading on the path people like Beetree herald. What I find offensive is this country being destroyed and made unrecognizable as a free country, and it is being done by citizens who are oblivious...or are they?

You said "people like BeeTree" in your showers and tats post, Joanro. Even if you didn't mean it that way, using the reference to the Nazis, tats and gas chamber disguised as showers is very offensive when used in any context.

People like Beetree are blithely sucking up to the unAmerican policies of their state's politicians, so are then allowing their freedom to be removed; the same way the victims of the Nazis blithely walked to what they were told were the "showers". And as for tattoos, I would bet that those same people sucking up to their rogue politicians think microchips in people are a great idea, and would volunteer for them.

Just be honest and admit you are trying your best to be insulting to me. You can't write a single sentence it seems without trying to be tricky in a nasty way. I don't care what garbage is flowing from your fingertips, because I can intellectualize the reason for it. Sour grapes and losers, come to mind. Everyone on this thread knows, "my" cause has already won. We have our beginning. That is unstoppable.

(My friends flight was delayed, must have been that awesome lightning and rain storm last night, caused all sorts of delays from Clearwater, FL?  I am going to LGA to pick her up in just a few, keep your fingers crossed I won't get stuck in traffic!)

That's insulting to people of the Jewish faith too, Joanro. Can't you find a way to say what's on your mind that's not belittling and offensive? How about - I disagree with BeeTree/Blitzen/whomever and here's why...............................
