Ruger1,
I still do not understand what happens to an infant that dies on it's way to Baptism?  Where does that infants soul go....according to your interpretation of the bible?

Jim,,IMO the soul of that child will return to his/her Creator. God knows the spiritual condition of that child's heart/soul. As humans we are not able to discern the condition of any persons soul and we must trust God to be the Judge...

Baptism does not save anyone,,It is an outward sign/symbol  that represents the new life in a believer or done to infants on behalf of their parents, to signify the hope of their children becoming believers,.. If an infant or anyone else for that matter dies before getting baptized it is neither here nor there ...It is however, something believers should desire to do in obedience to the Scriptures. It is not a requirement to becoming a believer in Christ...

Amen   Baptism does not save; it is an outward showing to Obedience after you believe accept and ask for forgiveness and REPENT THEN FOLLOW IN BELIEVERS BAPTISM OF IMMERSION INTO THE WATER AND RISE UP A NEW PERSON AND THEN follow;    KEY WORD   FOLLOW IN OBEDIENCE  THE REST OF YOUR DAYS....BIBLE IS THE BOOK TO GUIDE YOU WITH THE INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT.......
Belief has to be from a child old enough to believe and repent..so a child is in the hands of its Father God to return him or her to the hand of his origin...Study the BIBLE not mans rules..

Off and home out of starbucks..

THANKS  RUGER

Dear Ruger1

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN,YOUR DEVILS DOCTRINE IS KEEPING PEOPLE FROM A BELIEF IN GOD,
Jesus laid down his  LAST COMMAND as recorded in Mark 16:15  when he said,
Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
I call it the Great Commission.
The Great Commission is not delegated to just a few people, everyone must,
help bear this tremendous responsibility.. It is a joy to tell men and woman about Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless, the responsibility is great.  Many times you have questioned Shtal and I  why we are here on the data base.
It is because of the Great Commission,It is Christ last command.

Gouda,,I have no idea what you are talking about,,Did I ever say not to preach the Gospel?..Did I ever say that I do not share my faith in Christ?..It is through the message of the Gospel that those who belong to God are saved. I say preach the Gospel as God has commanded and God will save His people..Who are His people?...All who believe..Is that so difficult for you to understand?...I have had  just about enough of your ranting about the devils doctrine..lol...Its a good thing I love you...:)

You used to rant about Sthal and I preaching on the database and wasting our time.
Nobody ever wastes his time preaching the word of God.
One little seed spoken can help save a person twenty years from now.
One little word spoken can help another Christian here that is having a hardship in their life.
All the people on this board are Gods creation, and He is willing that not  a single one here should perish.
God never predestined, thats  a single person  here to hell before they were born, thats why  I'm here
on the database  off topic section.

I consider you my sister in Christ
and love you, just like all of the posters here, thats why I pray for them every single day.
I love them because Christ loves them as much as He loves me.

P.S.  YA YOU TO MOONSY
