your welcome.

Unfortunately, there's nothing to be won here, and that's kind of the point; only the hope of minimizing the damage.

gouda, it's been many years, however, my own experiences have shown me that certain substances (thc being one of them), can actually improve clarity of thought.

Okay Ruger, you just don't want to answer, I don't know why.  How about these, do you think these acts were evil?

Ted Bundy murder spree

9-11 World Trade Center attack

The gang rape/murder of a female student on a bus in India

Gouda,
your right the poppy is a flower, beautiful with many useful purposes.

The opium poppy produces a sap when cut.
It is not heroin or morphine.

The leaf of the Coca is not Cocaine.

I doubt that Canada would ever legalize pot, but it's on it's way here.

A second prohibition will end.

My reply was correct,
alcohol by the numbers does much more harm to humans than any of these natural things you confuse with man made substances.

My mind is clear and focused, unlike your mind which is clouded in a self made fog.

Moons.

Travels,,I just answered your question,,lol,,,If I remember correctly you asked me for an example in my own life something large or small and I gave you one. The examples you just gave are more like national events...You have a very bad habit of assuming that I am intentionally avoiding your questions...I don't do that..If I don't know the answer or if I don't prefer to answer I would plainly tell you so...I do not play games..

and yes, I do think the above examples were commited by those with evil intentions..

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to this, it's been a busy week.  Ruger, you change the question to fit your answer.  I have asked you specific questions that you never directly answer.  I'm trying to define what it is we're discussing, just so I can be perfectly clear and yes, your answers are always somewhat evasive and never direct.

Examples: What is evil, please define it?
Travels,,
I am not a fan of the excessive use of copy and paste material, but in this instant I feel it will better serve the answering of your question. I also posted a link to the entire article, which in its entirety would only take but a minute to read. I hope you will take the time.  IMO I could not have expressed or communicated a response better then what is found here.

I'm trying to get to the root of something you specifically find to be evil and you give me the copy and paste.  I was looking for SOMETHING that has happened that you have determined is evil.  So, I asked:  What evil have you witnessed in your own life and how did you determine it was evil?  Small or large scale, anything will do.
...and you answered: I have witnessed in my own life my desire to do that which makes me feel good, opposed to doing what is best for me, for others or most importantly what is in accordance with God's Word..IMO whatever sets itself against that which is considered ( by the Bible ) to be good and right is evil...

Now, had you used that answer, but were more direct, as in the specific act that you desired, but shunned, that would have been an answer.  But instead, you alluded to any generic act and made your decision concerning it the answer.  So I tried again, giving you examples of events and you now answer that you feel they were done with evil intentions.  I didn't ask about intentions, I asked if you would classify them as evil acts and if so, on what criteria.  Two different things.  You seem to like skipping steps when I'm attempting specificity for clarification.

But if you'd like to keep that answer, I'll take the next step and say that in some way, your answer is that it's the intention that's evil, not the act.?  So, if that's the case, what, specifically, makes the intention evil?

Travels, answer your question to whomever first, your inquisition style is getting old!

Travels, I will be happy to answer in a way that suits you,,:)
I am under the impression that you are wanting to define the definition of evil and examples of evil,,IMO we have already defined the meaning of evil ...Examples of evil acts could be any
of these; theft, murder, adultery, pride. deceit, coveting, slander, ...

Anything else I can clarify?...
