See, I don't see doom and gloom. I do try to stay positive in life no matter how bad of a hand I am dealt. Oh well!

I know what you mean, and I try to be positive about things but I see it so clearly.
Man is simply not capable of doing the right thing, again all it takes is a look back in time at our history.

We could do much better, but the only way I can figure out how to start over is very painful and destructive.
You couldn't just phase things out, that wouldn't work.

Thinking about it is depressing.

BIDEN: Public ahead of politicians on guns
by David McCumber

Q: It looks like background checks, money for mental health, money for school security, and an anti trafficking law are in play. If you could choose one more of your task force recommendations to get through Congress, what would it be?

A: If I could snap my fingers? Magazines. Because look, the truth is, look at those kids who escaped, 13, 14 of them while he was reloading. How about if he had to reload three more times?

Bang bang,
he shot me down,
bang bang,
I hit the ground ,
bang bang, that awful sound,
bang bang,
my baby shot me down.

GSD, I don't have the " I'm a Canadian" pride.  In my eyes, this whole world belongs to God, and is a gift to us, I'm just thankful to have been born to a loving family with many blessings.  I could have just as easily been born in Haiti.
What is happening to your country has already happened here, that is why I feel sadness, as the US was that last land of the free.

Having just come from Church, my spirit has been renewed and I'm feeling much more positive.  So glad to be on the winning side. :)
God is good!

Bee,
your source requires a subscription to view.

And the logic seems to be don't fix anything just slow it down so the quicker ones can escape leaving the slower ones behind.
What, like survival of the fittest?
Very cleaver.

And that picture of shotgun Joe, I couldn't resist.

bang bang !

Red Sable,
you could have just as easily been born to a loving family with just as many blessings in Haiti.
Your skin might be a different color and you might practice a different faith, yes your so lucky.
God so good?

Think about it.

Both links work for me. The CT Post article is better.

Doesn't matter,
the end result remains the same.
