Red Sable

by Red Sable on 26 April 2013 - 14:04

Moons, do you believe the world is round?  have you seen it for yourself?  Do you believe dinosaurs ruled the earth, and look like they do?  Have you seen that for yourself?
All of us have to believe in some source as truth for things unseen.
You know who you trust to tell you things without actually seeing them,  and I know whom I trust.
Jesus walked the earth, even those you believe will tell you that.
I happen to believe the  Bible as truth, because I also believe it to be the word of God, and I know God will not lie because it is not in His nature.

You asked on the other thread if anyone here believes in the Devil, no one answered.
Well let me be the first, yes.
The evidence of him is everywhere!, as well as right here on this board.
He also believes Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, for that matter.
It is a spiritual battle being fought, and we are smack dab in the middle of it.

I may be mentally retarded, true, but I believe it to be in a good way. Wink Smile

Your not mentally retarded Red Sable.
And yes, I've seen all those things.

I figure Jesus did walk the earth, but was he a son of a god.....No.

My point still stands,
everything is in that book, a book, just a book.

There are other books.

And no books at all.

LOL,
I've heard those very words before RedSable.....
It's been a long week here, I may go all out with a single malt if I have the coin.

I really don't drink much, a couple of times a year.
I smoke a little more often but not much of that either.

Moderation has always been my guide, so make me a small one...:)

Ok. :)
I don't drink  much either.  I had a  mudslide the other day, tasted like a milkshake, and I love milkshakes, especially vanilla.
That is, even after I heard where much of our natural flavours especially vanilla  come from, - beaver anal glands, yup, it's true! Sick

Carlin,,Yes, the link is a homepage. It is the homepage of Ligonier Ministries. RC Sproul, a pastor and theologian, is someone  I enjoy tremendously. I assumed from your comment to Gouda, you had possible never heard him speak, so I wanted to share the homepage. Unfortunately, it was Goudas intention to discredit RC by posting another link in his post on the previous page ..I just wanted to give you and anyone else that might be interested an opportunity to judge for themselves whether or not the article Gouda posted was indeed accurate and true ,,,

Also, I really enjoyed your last post.,,Thanks,,:)  While I can still say I have not regretted my time on this thread,, I do believe that to continue as I have been is futile ..It is such a frustration to me personally to hear the stuff preached here, but then again God's Will will be done in spite of it..Again, your last post was worded so well!!.

Deanna,,

Red Sable,
I dunno about he beaver thing,
I always liked a Kaluha at closing time to settle me out.

I haven't been to a club in years due to the cigarette histeria and bans, bans everywhere except for those well connected like the river boats.

I miss a good band and a smoky night club personally.

Awww, Bee, I liked the sound of Limbo better than Purgatory !  LOL.
Can I go to Purgatory even though not 'born' Catholic ?  It was a
Church of England christening.
