All of you are mentally retarded.

by beetree on 25 April 2013 - 23:04

No, you are just rude. Feel free to extend your nap.

You will find an answer to your question in my very old thread; you will have a very long reading though...sorry.

Beetree,

You guys are arguing if god sends babies to hell and I'm rude for pointing out the obvious? I really liked Shtal's baby meets god skit.

There is nothing to refute as I am not impressed ..Your video is foolish if you want me to be plain about..I have answered every question to my knowlede..Refresh my memory...

You are correct, there is nothing to refute, which is WHY you are not impressed, because it's spot on.

And no, you've never answered this question, you've just avoided it.

And if this is morality to you, how do you determine the difference between this and evil?

Red Sable

I agree Shtal.

Ruger, Carlin and anyone else who believes half the Bible but ignores the other half.
If what you believe is true:
Predestination
THEN:

Jesus came to earth and suffered and died  for nothing
Satan is not needed down here to deceive ( oh and deceive he does!!)
Abortion is really not a sin unless it is of believers (and surely they wouldn't abort anywayWhat Smile) as even babies are denied Heaven Sick
No one whom God has chosen needs to worry about not sinning anymore as once saved always saved
No one has to preach the Gospel as God chooses who is saved anyway and will bring them to Him

Now you are going to say, yes, because God says so (or nitpik my wording as yours sugar coats it and makes it sound nicer).   Either way, the jist of it is the same and sorry but it doesn't wash and I'm not convinced.
I'm also sorry all the non believers on here had to be a witness to this. We Christians can't even agree, which is sad and like Shtal says, all worship a different God.
I'm not  going to argue the point anymore, (even though I believe it to be a crucial one - for fear of being a clanging bell I'll quit), as God  would not want it that way.
Love and best wishes to all, and may God make his truth known and his true character known,  to all of us.

Red sable - read carefully. I haven't actually forwarded a view on the subject, and with good reason. I see nothing to be gained here either way.

Hundmutter

Interesting.  So as I was Christened / baptised as a baby,
does that mean I would get to be accepted into  heaven (lets
suppose for a moment one exists)  even tho'  I grew up to
be an atheist ?  (Please note I don't think I committed
any (major, @ least) sins along the way, having not been
a burglar or a murderer or anything).
Still trying to establish any LOGIC in all these views of the
bible...

by beetree on 26 April 2013 - 10:04

Hundmutter,

The original sin is taken care of, but you are responsible for your own sins. You must own those, and "truly" feel sorry about sinning. Then you will be forgiven. It is a good idea to be sorry about all those bad choices one has made while able to do so, kind of helps stack the deck in your favor. If you say, didn't get time to do that, you were murdered out of the blue, and died with unconfessed sins or the very least, a sense of having sinned and being either remorseful, or not, then, you are taking your chances.

Other's here will be more definite about the decisions God will make and how. I don't bother. I just know he will. But yes, you have passed Limbo. Purgatory, still is on the table, but it is like the pre-wash cycle, if you have a conscience. If not, the dirt stays with you and well we know how that goes!

Travels,I avoided nothing..Stop playing games I am weary of it..I answered your question. You are apparently only interested in playing games ..I am not . Anyway I will answer it again. Morality is whatever God ( the God of the Bible ) has declared in the His Word to be true/right/acceptable/good in His sight; whatever is contrary to that standard is evil..That is as simple as I can make it

RS ( you in black ; me in red )//

,,
Jesus came to earth and suffered and died  for nothing= No, that is not what I said. I said Christ suffered and died to save His people. And save His people is what He has done. i do not believe that all people are God's people. All those that belong to God believe in the work Christ has accomplished on the cross.
Satan is not needed down here to deceive ( oh and deceive he does!!) lol,,Satan is alive and well, but no he is not needed. God does not need satan do accomplish His Will. Does he desire to deceive, yes. However, our own nature does a very good job of that on it's own.
Abortion is really not a sin unless it is of believers (and surely they wouldn't abort anywayWhat Smile) as even babies are denied Heaven Sick   ........Roll eyes here we go,,lol,,The issue concerning abortion have nothing to do with whether or not a fetus is from a believer or unbeliever...I would also venture to guess that there are Christians who have had abortions..
No one whom God has chosen needs to worry about not sinning anymore as once saved always saved...No one who is chosen by God will desire to live in a state of continual disobedience towards God ,once coming to faith in Christ.. Do we sin, yes. We are not yet glorified and subject to the weakness of the flesh. No one can undo what God has done so once saved ALWAYS saved!!..
No one has to preach the Gospel as God chooses who is saved anyway and will bring them to Him....God has commanded every believer to preach the Gospel. It is through the preaching of the Word that God saves. God uses the message of the Gospel to bring those He loves; whom He has chosen, to faith in Christ...Again, we do not ignore what God has commanded in HIs Word because it doesn't seem logical. You have a habit of dismissing what you don't like or don't understand...

Now you are going to say, yes, because God says so...yep, I am.. (or nitpik my wording as yours sugar coats it and makes it sound nicer)..my poor eyes,, Roll eyes lol..  Either way, the jist of it is the same and sorry but it doesn't wash and I'm not convinced....I do not care whether you are convinced. You believing it is here nor there..However, I would encourage you to pray that God gives you wisdom concerning HIs Word.
I'm also sorry all the non believers on here had to be a witness to this....I'm not sorry. This might be the one time they hear the truth ..This is after all our calling as believers. I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to share Gods Word.  We Christians can't even agree, which is sad and like Shtal says, all worship a different God...Not sad. kinda frustrating, but it is to be expected. There are those ( won't mention any names ) who worship a God that agrees with what they can except and understand..Others believe in a God that they trust regardless of whether or not they understand Him....
I'm not  going to argue the point anymore, (even though I believe it to be a crucial one - for fear of being a clanging bell I'll quit), as God  would not want it that way....Is that what you meant by a clanging in your head!!,,lol,,I had a suspicsion..It is loving to correct those in error, How they receive the correction is on them..Again, we are called to love God more then all else. Loving God is not denying His Word or who HE is ...
Love and best wishes to all, and may God make his truth known and his true character known,  to all of us...God has made much known through His Word.,,Read it..

Deanna..:) 419 651 4624,,I am almost done with internet communication on these topics.I have spent a unmentionable amount of time here because I find written communication difficult at time and it takes me forever to post...If anyone is seriously interested in discussing anything posted by me on this thread feel free to call and I will try and clarify what has been typed..I am super busy this weekend, but Monday I am free..:)
