I absolutely don't know Reliya. I hope she or he doesn't waste her time explaining her opinion since she was told is was "shit", the topic was a game, and her relationship with the OP was assumed then mocked. Reliya didn't deserve that.
Many new people come here asking opinions on xrays and don't get the above.
I did not read the topic as anything but to elicit a discussion. What's the big deal? Xray topics are fun.

Pardon my.......German

Ragnarok2 such true words.  I was getting ready to post about the rudeness of Beetree to Reylia when you beat me to it.

And this rudeness because she (Beetree) did not get enough information from anothers post, and this from a person who did not show the courage to post.

Beetree I would surely like to know why you thought you should call out and critique another member who said nothing to or about you. Just plain RUDE and very tired of this kind of conduct.

Reliya is young and tries to learn all she can. She has, as far as I am aware, just as much practical experience with dogs (working dogs, no less) as Beetree, if not more. She actually has owned working line GSDs and has a real interest and desire to know more. I merely said I didn't "know" her because Beetree was trying to crucify the poor kid for associating with me. She doesn't deserve the "guilt by association" that was being dished out to her.

Ragnarok...yeah, just looking for some discussion about DOGS as opposed to thinly veiled insults and gossip. Many many people come here looking for X-ray opinions and I think every thread with examples helps.

Reliya

I'm fine. I'm not bothered by it. Heard far worse in the military. I hope everybody else is fine. We should just squash it and have an educated discussion about the topic. 👍

I think I'm better at reading and explaining elbows than hips. The hip in the OP looks properly seated in the socket, and when I compare it to the OFA graph, it looks closest to the "Good" image of a hip. After I saw the other examples, it could be good or excellent. But! I'm no expert, so I have no clue. I just know that they won't fail, for sure.

Excuse me, Ragnarak, but I never called Reilya "shit". As a matter of fact if y'all weren't so intent on misreading my posts with nastiness that simply is not there, you would see that Reliya's last post actually contains information that is helpful and want to comment on that. I need to translate your German. lol Probably meant as an insult?

Now, WR, why did I feel comfortable to make a tongue and cheek comment to Reilya? Because she was making tongue and cheek comments herself about the lackluster posting. Usually if someone dishes, they don't become defensive and butt hurt. Even the tagalong, pot stirrer Hundmutter seems to employ insults directed at members who don't post and drops the F* bomb to show her strong emotions but that's okay. Because it happens to be me, I get the flack for having a sense of humor when coupled with a strong expression style.

Waves to Jenni! Oh, NVM. There is no veil here. Duh.

Can we STOP the tit-for-tat and talk about DOGS????????????????????

Greta's OFA results came back "excellent."

by SitasMom on 04 August 2017 - 20:08

Super great news.... "I'd say that the Greta's are at least Good, no worries." ......Guess I was a bit too conservative...

Back to dogs, you are right.

Although I like those hips, I would like to see the balls more pronounced, and the sockets a little longer, but this dog will never have any hip problems during its whole life, and based on this pic I would use this dog for training and/or breeding without any doubt.

Did you send the pics to SV, too?
I GUESS ( I am absolutely no experts in hips ) they would get a "fast normal" over here -
would be interesting to know ( once again, I am no expert ).
