Right now I am thinking about one or two whole litters ( maybe 12 puppies? ) growing up together, depending on each other instead of focussing on the owner...a nightmare...

Blackmal, buying and breeding is common procedure, training and titling isn´t involved ...

BM good breeders are not allways good trainers and good trainers are not allways good breeders

True Duke not all world class trainers or handlers are good marketing people or sales man

Only knowlwedge you can,t buy this only,  you have to work for this to get this,    this was my point.

If I was a breeder I like to know personal most of the actual  dogs in a pedigree by training or own eyes , not only
stories from other people, because I have learned not all the info is always correct what people telling.Wink Smile

But Logan Haus have a good reputation about KNPV dogs  trained by

Iedema, Roosen, Kamphuis, Kikkert,   etc , etc.

Going with the logic in the last few posts here, does a good vendor have to be good at training or breeding?

by duke1965 on 11 May 2017 - 08:05

no VK that is bonusWink Smile, good vendor needs to be good dog evaluator mainly

Reminds when i used to work for a horse vendor as a kid. Guy could not ride or breed horses. He only dealt with trained horses at varying levels.

He used to make people believe they were getting the deal of the century and convinced customers any latet problems were the fault of the buyer. He was both worshipped and hated, depends who you ask.

by duke1965 on 11 May 2017 - 09:05

VK horses and dogs are like apples and pears in this perspective, the dogs a vendor sells to LE have to work or have to be replaced at vendors expense

by duke1965 on 11 May 2017 - 09:05

True BM but plenty good trainers in USA sell dogs that were trained in europe in KNPV or IPO or LE, its matter of supply and demand
