My dogs all live in the house with me. I have doggy doors allowing come and go as they please. I have two crates that allows anyone who wants to go in to do so. I have added rooms to accommodate my dogs. I do have "several" German Shepherds that live socially together, as in, males and females.
I can and do leave my dogs together in my house when I leave and come home to my house the same way I leave it.
I do separate when dogs in heat and when I have pups, hence the added rooms
What's the sense in having dogs if you do not want to spend time with them. My dogs are lifers...
No out with the old for me.
They are here because I want them here.

Curious, do you have a regular day job eg 9-5'er away from home or are you at home all day?

Curious...Didn't you know vk, curiosity killed the cat(s), oh no, that's right, that was you.
Funny dogs are more ethical than people these days.
I know you was not asking me that question, and, FYI, yes I do work, not 9 to 5....I do landscaping and work in a greenhouse.
And my dogs often come with me. They know how to act, at home and away from home.
They "live a life" with me, not just alive for me!!!
