You need to look at the peds of a lot of gsd police dogs, you might be shocked, not referring to mals or crosses.

PPD doesn't count cos most of it is just scammer bullshit.

There are 10x more police dogs from Czech/Slovak lines in America than pure IPO lines. Also, Czech breeders went to IPO dogs for the genetic diversity. And I am not speaking from internet, I'm speaking from police perspective. Was at USPCA national trial this year, ( only street dogs can compete), besides the Mals almost all of the GSD were of Czech or Czech/west mix.
Every WL breeder will say their dogs can do police work on their websites and videos.....talk to police training academies and police brokers and find out where they find the most suitable candidates.....it's not even close.

@ Vk4gsd....where do you get the pedigrees of LE dogs from. I have dealt with countless LE dogs and depts over years and MOST don't know the pedigrees, only the source or country from which they came. I'm really curious about this.

Easy

1. most breeders I know are very forward about how many dogs they sell to police and they promote it openly, even obsessively. Breeders are loud and proud of the dogs they place in LEO and dam sure let the world know.

2. Ask the vendor where they get dogs and where they go. I get you are being cagey but for fuk sake any breeder on this forum that has donated or sold a dog to LEO makes sure the world knows about it, including you and especially including Herby who has prolly put hundreds of dogs and their peds up that went to LEO.

3. Follow and talk to training kennels, I have lists.

not hard at all actually.

Sure the cop receiving the dog prolly doesn't know or care but dogs weren't born as adults that just jumped out of a shipping container into a police vehicle. Fuk I can even tell you the key stud dog of the Slovak army.

You got all the answers, Thanks

VK, Im not going into each point but you are wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong

will go into one point however, many german breeders wanted to use several old czech dogs but are simply not allowed by SV as they didnot have show and kurung etc from SV judges, I used Amigo zamat for example and he was wanted for breeding by many in Germany, but simply was not allowed as well, the hypocrit SV allowed him(and many others) to participate at WUSV however, but no breeding allowed for german breeders( the stud dog money MUST stay in Germany)

Also you are right that I sell pedigree dogs from my breeding to police, but they are 100% classic czech lines
but like I said earlyer majority of police prospect are mixes and GSD are majority from eastern lines

now about Leon, he comes from the two best producing motherlines in Germany, Orla/konnie on mother and Haska karthago on sireline

all the Lutter dogs from Haska were NOT to compare to your general todays sport dogs, Ive seen several from Aso and Fado that were NOT desired in IPO, biting the decoy on place were no sleeve is LOL and biting the handlers while doing obedience etc

The dogs in KNPV that succeed also all come from strong producing motherlines, Ive seen several of these KNPV dogs that were more sporty, good strong dogs however, and after one really good male from strong mother was promoted heavily, more breeders started to use Leon, and with genetics behind him that Leon has , some good stuff must come out

Also I saw mother of Bolle working as a young dog and one cannot deny that she has exeptional qualities also,

The stud fee has to stay in Germany?!?
As far as I know Amigo was never shown and never breed surveyed, so he wasn' t allowed for breeding in my country, pretty simple.
In case "many" people were interested in this dog, why did the owner not show and breed survey him?
What's the reason? Would have been 2 days of work for "many" breedings....A lot of money lost.. Why?
What was wrong with the dog?
Almost no off spring listed at all...

Duke learn to read, I actually said police dogs that are gsd and not mals or mixes.

Secondly you live in east of course you are going sell more east dogs but you are not the world, you are just one guy amongst many that makes a buck getting dogs as cheap as possible and selling as many as you can for as much as you can.

by duke1965 on 04 March 2017 - 16:03

VK , the german K9 centers buy their dogs in the east, the dutch k9 centers buy their dogs in the east and the belgium K9 centers buy their dogs in the east, I personally sell to two belgium, 4 german and 3 dutch K9 centers, all non ped or east dogs, in australia the police has NO OTHER sources than pedigree dogs from breeders mainly, I supply two companies that provide LE etc in australia, one buys only mixes, the other mostly my czech breeding, can go on and on

@ Susie, Amigo was stationed in Luxemburg and got a lot of interest after his performances on the WUSV and FCI when he was older already, so he wasnot going to all that stuff again for some studfees, Amigo bred one female in belgium, one of me and one in france, so you wont find much offspring on him, friend of Helmut Raiser has pups now from son of Amigo from my breeding

I can find you the interview of the helper from worldchampionships where they asked him if there was some dog that he specially noticed during the championships, Amigo Zamat was the one, scoring maybe 40th position or so

and still today many good dogs cannot be used by german breeders because they didnot do their AD or show or trail under an SV recognized judge, simply because not every country has SV recognized judges

Duke, I don't question the working ability of the dog, I wonder why he wasn't shown and breed surveyed.
"Normally" this happens because of missing teeth, testicles-something like that-not because the owner is no German.
Guess, we will never know.
