Puppy is a sound dog , has been environmentally socialized , very curious but also very aloof with strangers ( which I like ) great dog so far but I've never experienced a puppy this aloof and I believe that might be a personality thing because his littermate is the opposite , he's very alpha and a little too dog agressive for me , but I will try hand feeding and trust building excersise to earn his trust and hopefully he'll come around

Of course you're never sure how a puppy will mature...You do your part and the puppy has to do their's...You can socialize a puppy all you want but they can develop in different ways...
If a puppy is dog aggressive you can correct them but don't totally keep them away from other dogs or people...You can cause more of a situation...I would "set up" situations where you can control what happens...You don't want anyone or any dogs hurt...
A lot of people have a misconception of what "Socialization" is...It's not where every Tom...Dick...and Harry puts their hands on my dog...You choose who you allow to physically touch them...I'd ONLY do it under strict observation...Particularly if you allow children to do it...But "Socialization" is to introduce your puppy/dog to new things...New situations and to be around new people...animals and other new things...
IF I allow others to touch my puppy/dogs I first tell them that you Let the Puppy/Dog to come to them...You DON'T go towards the Puppy/Dog...
If your puppy is dog aggressive but has good food drive...you might bring him around another dog keeping a safe distance...start to feed your puppy...I personally use Hot Dogs...but use whatever your puppy enjoys and responds to...
