Sure, right after you answer your own question, first. Let's get this ball rolling!

The answer, from a Christian point of view, is that no one knows. That's why it's so much easier for preachers to talk about Hell.

If Heaven is the end goal, why is there so little information on its content, state of being, relationships, etc.? I'm curious as to what those who DO believe, are expecting when they get there, in as much detail as possible. But, of course, some people consider these kinds of questions to be "traps", usually those who like to employ "traps" themselves, projection at its finest. Just shut down the discussion before it begins because this forum can only discuss your chosen topics? Really? That's some goddess complex you have going on there, Princess. I wonder if it's possible for anyone to use every single known logical fallacy in just one debate, even before the discussion begins. This one would be a contender, the're adding up!

I simply don't have the power to do as you accuse. If someone, like Shtal wants to actually give you the answer you only want to read, they certainly can do that, and I won't be able to stop them, even if I wanted to stop them.

You post many topics in which not a single person responds. Am I supposed to take credit for those silences, as well? In that case, make me a QUEEN and not, Princess.

@GSDTRAVELS

Your question for most christian folks reading this is very interesting but we have very little information in the Bible. Jesus said:

(John 14:2–3) In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

You see GSDTRAVELS, heaven is where God is and sin is not. In heaven we will see God’s glory and worship Him with the angels and heavenly creatures. The Bible refers to mansions in our Father’s house. Will there really be mansions? It could be. But whatever Jesus is referring to here, we know that it will be something amazing that our minds can’t even imagine. But the most important thing is that Jesus will be there. We know it will be an awesome, beautiful place and really BIG! Unlike anything we have ever seen before! And what about your age? What kind of body will you have? That is not made clear. Let me tell you what the Bible DOES say. The apostle Paul describes the body as a tent. Something that will be destroyed when we die (when our souls go to be with the Lord.) And the Bible tells us that one day we will have new physical bodies that will be different from the bodies we have now. What will the changes be? We don’t know for sure. I truly believe it will be something like Jesus’ resurrection body!

btw, read this verses you will find exact answers:

(Matthew 6:9;) (2 Peter 3:13;) (Revelation 21:16–27;) (1 Corinthians 15:51–52.)

@Shtal,    I think she was hoping for the mansion rooms' decor details? Like what exactly is the style of the golden thrones one might find there and if we might find armoires storing crowns with feathers in them, used for counting all the saved souls?

If I have to wear a tent, that sounds more like Hell, to me. I am sure there must be some leeway for exceptions. I will be sure to ask about that directly, once I am at the Pearly Gates.

To me heaven is what we make it, what we believe. I think we are all kidding ourselves when we think there is some other place where we will live in eternity all stacked upon ourselves, maybe like sardines. Seriously this place would have to be huge. I still believe when you die you die and 1 million bible verses is not going to change that belief.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

@Beetree,

Paul begins by saying that we know, which means we can be certain that when our earthly tent, the weak bodies we have now, die, then we will have a new resurrection body. Three times in these verses Paul says our present body is a tent. And in verses 1 and 2 he describes our resurrection body as a building or as a house. The bodies we have now are like a tent.

You see Beetree, tents are great for camping but are terrible during storms, for they do not hold up when a storm comes crashing through. Our bodies are pretty good tents, but they last at the longest for a hundred years and then they completely break down, and sometimes they break down long before that. But our resurrection bodies are compared to stable and secure houses. In other words, our resurrection bodies are everlasting. Nothing will shake or destroy the bodies we will receive.

Incidentally, when Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5:1 that we have a building from God, do not let the present tense confuse you. He is not talking about the present but the future. He uses the present tense because the future promise is so sure. We are guaranteed as Christians that we will be raised from the dead.

In addition, beetree please notice another contrast between our present and future bodies. He says that our bodies now are earthly (v. 1), which is another way of saying that they are mortal (v. 4). In other words, our bodies are dying; they are like tents wearing out, but our future bodies are heavenly. We will be clothed as v. 2 says with our bodies from heaven. A heavenly body is a body that is not corruptible. As Paul says in v. 4 what is mortal is swallowed up by life. So, our heavenly bodies will never die, never get sick, and never get old.

Beetree if you are reading this please notice that they are physical bodies! Being without a body as Paul says is like being naked. It is like being unclothed. The Bible does not view life as a spirit as a state of wholeness or completeness. When we die we are with Jesus in our spirits and we exist in a disembodied state until the day of resurrection. As v. 8 says when we are absent from the body we are present with the Lord. Philippians 1 says that if we depart this life, then we go to be with Christ immediately. But it is important to stress, the intermediate state, when we are with the Lord in our spirits it is not what God intended for us. No, what it means to be complete is to be clothed with a physical body and not to live in spirit kind of condition. And Paul stresses, our bodies will be raised when Jesus comes again.

The Bible is not gnostic. The Bible does not view spiritual life as better than physical life. Our future life is life in the body, but thankfully, it is a body untouched by sin. It is a body that will be raised from the dead and clothed with power and beauty. The perfection of our bodies is implied in verse 1 when he says our future body is not made with hands. This stands in contrast with our present bodies. As verse 2 says, we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven. Verse 4 repeats the idea that we groan now in our bodies, because we are burdened.

And I will repeat this? Bible tells us that one day we will have new physical bodies that will be different from the bodies we have now. What will the changes be? We don’t know for sure. I truly believe it will be something like Jesus’ resurrection body!

You have a wonderful day Beetree :)
