Following Republican nominee Donald Trump’s surprise meeting with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, the leader of our southern neighbor and the racist real estate mogul took turns delivering prepared remarks. Taking advantage of Trump’s ignorance, Nieto proceeded to school Trump on the truth to his own face, debunking all the lies that Trump repeats over and over at his rallies.

“Undocumented immigration from Mexico to the U.S. had its highest point 10 years ago and it has slowed down consistently, even to the point of being negative in a net effect at this point” said Nieto, going on to mock Trump for portraying “a clearly incomplete version” that doesn’t take into account the way that the free flow of American weapons and our insatiable appetite for cocaine all contribute heavily to crime and violence in both Mexico and the United States. “Every year, millions of dollars and weapons come in from the north that strengthen the cartels and other criminal organizations that generate violence in Mexico.”

Nieto told Reuters that he told Trump that he will not pay for the wall, while Trump told reporters that they didn’t discuss who would pay at all.

In 2008, UK's government formally recognized the first Sharia Law court, and the Archbishop of Canterbury - the head of Church of England - conceded that adopting elements of the Sharia law into UK's court system was "unavoidable."

Since then, over 100 Sharia law councils have been established across the UK. Although they technically lie within the UK's Tribunal Court system, these Sharia courts/councils have been issuing rulings that contradict Britain's common law, as well as European Union laws.

Prager continues to post some right-wing fantasists website version of what goes down in the UK, even knowing I am actually IN the UK and therefore bound to challenge his nonsense with the truth !

If anyone has any interest in what the truth IS, use the link.  Briefly, for those who cannot be arsed to read the facts, the situation is this:

 

Sharia councils and the few Muslim Arbitration Tribunals that have been set up in the UK number in their dozens, not hundreds - last count was 85 - and concern themselves primarily with family and matrimonial issues.  While we could take issue with some of them on grounds that they abuse principals re women's rights, they are ALL bound by UK Law, and subject to Police investigation if they in any way break UK Law.

 

I know of nowhere that has the "muslim controlled area" posters that Prager (or someone) describes;  if such do exist, they have as little legal weight and credibility as any other fly-posters, for any product or event, would have.

 

Nonetheless, the UK government has currently commissioned a Review to check on how these "courts" are in fact operating, which is expected to complete its report in 2017.  So it is hardly true that this is all happening with no controls.

Thanks HM for that link. Saved me a lot of time. Figured there had to be a less hysterical take on the actual situation going on there in the UK. That book I read over the summer touched on some of the issues of family fairness in treatment within the cultural role of Muslim women.
