Dylann Roof, the man accused of a shooting spree that left nine people dead at a historic black church in Charleston on Wednesday night, should not have been able to get a gun.

Federal law prohibits people with pending felony charges from obtaining firearms. In February, Roof was arrested and later charged with felony possession of Suboxone, a narcotic prescription drug. He was released, and  the case is pending.

Lol, I am no where near going over the edge, funny though, gave me a big laugh. My problems, omg, I don't think I mentioned my problems at all, but nice try at a deflection. Btw, I don't take any meds but a pain pill every so often when my shoulder is killing me. No meds, I would pretty much rather be dead. So long, lol.

I am just learning the amazing large number of conservative regular people on medication, it is staggering. Modern life is taking its toll, I think everyone will eventually be on something.

Personally I have never done anything more than pain relief and pills to keep me awake for long hours when I needed them for working machinery non stop day and night.

You blow it all off with your 'Blame game 101' remark. The guy yesterday didn't shoot anybody, I said it was probably a suicide by cop mission...you say I make it up as I go. Theater Shooter Had Been Committed Four Times
A hatchet-wielding man, armed with what turned out to be a pellet gun, attacked a movie patron at a theater outside of Nashville Wednesday and sprayed others with pepper spray before he was shot dead by police, authorities said.

Nashville police were called on a report of a suspected "active shooter" situation at the Carmike Hickory 8 theater in the suburb of Antioch.......
The suspected firearm turned out to be an "airsoft" pistol that resembled a handgun, police said.
Montano appears to have had a history of mental illness, Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron said. He was committed twice each in 2004 and 2007, Aaron said Rutherford County authorities told investigators.

"It appears this individual has had significant psychiatric or psychological issues," Aaron said. "The motive for all of this has not been determined," he said.
