Where have I suggested they did it maliciously or with spite?

I have stated that I suspect I know why they did it, and suggested  it would be to their benefit (in their mind)

Like everything else here.....I'm sure someone knows this person personally and has been in contact with them.

And as I stated to you in a PM  a lot of good it does sending a moderator a PM deal with this issue and the member as you see fit.

And, thanks for posting your response instead of answering me in a PM.

I'm not interested in a Debate,  I wanted to make an informational post.

There some some very important matters  being dealt with right now concerning our dog and a great deal of money involved.

The last thing we need is someone altering the dogs pedigree. Take it to PM's, how often do we hear that?

Then when you do take it to a PM it either gets ignored or posted.......really?

I have said what needed to be said, carry on everyone with your PMs and have a nice day

I never posted your PM and being this isn't against an admin decision there is no reason to take it to PMs, read the TOS. After all you posted it on an open forum so I answered on an open forum.

BTW, we all work full time jobs, have families and lives so if we don't answer a PM rest assured if it was deemed important it would be posted in the mod forum which your PM was posted there for all admins to read and respond.

I don't want to debate it either and I never ever said you thought it malicious, I said I don't feel it was malicious. 2 totally different things.

Admin-

To clarify "Then when you do take it to a PM it either gets ignored or posted.......really?"

I meant that my PM to you should have been responded by you  in a PM to me, instead of commenting in the post.

Reading it over I can see how it was misinterpreted, for that I apologize.

And I believe that in another post you asked to be notified if a pedigree was altered.

Hundmutter-

Do you think the person who changed our dogs pedigree to be helpful is some kind of Database Philanthropist because I did some checking and guess what?

That same day they changed the pedigree of one of our dogs progeny; Ikar zo Severnej hranice as well as Nora z Udolia Oravy, Cim Von Kennstenich and Car Policia.

Now I understand why they are too busy to contact me and explain why they changed our dogs pedigree.

I've changed my mind, let's all discuss this shall we.

IMO, without the expressed permission of the owner or breeder, no one should change or post a pedigree of a dog they do not own or have not bred period.

Kim, you can select to be notified via email for any change made to your dog's pedigree. But you must do it for each pedigree. I had it do that when an idiot went through and took all the hip and elbow ratings off some of my dogs, to make it appear I was breeding dogs without certifying. I corrected them, and low and behold, pdb sent me an email notifying me the bozo changed them t unknown again. It made for a lot of work for gsdlineage, as they went to ofa database, posted corrections with ofa numbers on each of my dogs that the creep had changed. It's too bad that one must spend time double checking your dogs'pedigrees. There are some creeps out there with nothing constructive to do with their time. Therefore, one cannot rely on the information as posted on pedigrees because of idiots who change for their own twisted reasons.

Agreed Blitzen, thanks Joanro

What I find unbelievable is the "tone of some the responses" to this post, downplaying the situation, really?

These people who changed the pedigree must have friends.

This is an International Database and Forum for Dogs and I'm being told not to worry about it, they were "probably just being helpful" and "just fix it and move on".

So, people are told to do their Research on this Database prior to purchasing a dog.

And people purchase pups/dogs based on a decision they made because of representations that were made regarding the pedigree of the pup/dog.

And if the representation of a pedigree has been made with the intent to induce the other party to rely upon it, you may have a serious problem if you were using your misrepresentation in order to help you make a sale.

People on this forum have the audacity to talk about Breeders with Integrity, Breeders that can be trusted.....and yet only several people beside myself seem to be concerned about multiple Pedigrees being altered by an unauthorized person who is well known on this forum.

Wow! Anyone who thinks this is going to end quietly......... should think again.

The dogs current owners should be in control what info is entered on a dog as long as its true and are real facts,I,m sure there are some that claim their dog,s hips passed when they did not,its nice to see the ones that enter a cert. OFA number included on a dogs info, even though Im sure some people with try to fake that with a fake number also, but one can try to match with OFA database in case its also listed for OFA,s site  public view,        I see many peds that have missing info, missing birthdates, missing titles, missing pictures or even wrong pictures. Most dogs elbow xrays are listed as unknown on this sight it would be nice to see this improved somehow and I think a system to list the cert number when data entered could help in the right direction. For breeders the more accurite, complete info on a dog on this website is a very great tool to have.

And, with true sincerity I would like to thank GSD Admin. for bringing the full depth of this matter to my/forums attention.

Their comments to me got me thinking, so I looked in to this a little more...... and what a goldmine of intrigue I uncovered.

Surely there must be a lot more people concerned about this matter?

Maybe we could merge this topic in with the "Breeding Philosophy" thread currently on the board?

Because I am not interested in talking about how pretty your dog is, I want some explanations as to why this was done!

Easyto sell some dog(s)

Some one (whose listed on the history of changes...) changed Rush's (Corado) pedigree info to have his location listed under his TITLES.  So to the unknowing or unawares it would appear the Rush is a working Slovakian Police K9 as well as other dogs that Kim listed as being changed.

I agree 100% with Kim.  It's extremely dishonest, it also comes across as a slight on Rush that who he is and what he's produced isn't enough already, he needs a fake police K9 title in his pedigree as well.  Rush's being used at stud by them is an honor and says enough about what he produces.  He doesn't need fake BS put on his pedigree.

I applaud Kim for being so vocal and persistent about it.  It's not a simple mistake.  Someone is doing it to market some dogs and in doing this, it is fraudulent.
