I guess he wouldn't need an incinerator if it weren't necessary to "get rid of" multiple dogs. I understand that one of the BD member of GSDCA had to leave the meeting Hunte attended with his supposed attorney. He/she couldn't take the description of the incinerator. It's my understanding it was pretty graphic and sickening.

Blitzen, thanks for explaining that. This confirms the GSDCA is nothing more than an AKC sycophant. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I don't like'em, don't trust'em & won't join'em.

jletcher18, Even in this we DO NOT want or need PETA. They are evil enough. They will not stop at this mega breeder but continue until all breeders are banned.

Mr Hunte makes me very uncomfortable. He markets & cares for puppies in a fashion similar to any large retailer. I wouldn't be surprised if he "date stamps" the poor creatures.

Sueincc, I will never again join the GSDCA myself. While I think they do some good things so far as contributing to research on issues that effect the breed, I have no desire to be associated with a club that would admit a known puppy miller into their ranks. You can bet PETA knows who Hunte is and sooner or later he will be feeling their sting and rightfully so. The good news is there are several organizations that are brainstorming right now to try to figure out how the dog world can best fight PETA and other extremist groups. For sure it's going to take a lot of work from all of us and we will need to find a way to work with one another so we get the saddle on the right end of the horse. There is strength in numbers........

It's like a Walmart for dogs. How can they look at puppies like an item? Nobody can sit there and tell me those dogs get the same care, or better than in someones own backyard. It just seems sad anyone would even (want) to think up this idea and then go through with it. Yikes! Whats next? Children for special order? I'm puting in my order for green eyes and blonde hair this time. Just sickening.

So, would everyone boycotting the GSDCA and WDA have any impact, or do they not care anymore, since they have a puppy mill on board?

Now is the time for USA to get the registry in gear and take the lead as THE German Shepherd group in this country. The GSDCA has lost any credibilty it had with this action in direct opposition to the will of the membership. There were protests and they were ignored. I would like to see some huge changes in the GSDCA, mandatory Breeders Code and breed wardens to enforce it. Mr. Hunte is welcome to join the GSDCA, just not market German Shepherds through his puppy mill. Lorri

I bet they were afraid he'd sue. Someone mentioned hoping the SV and FCI break ties with the GSDCA. Where would our papers for dogs whelped here come from? Even if USA gets their registry in gear, the AKC is still the only FCI approved registry. Since the WDA and GSDCA are linked, is Hunte the next member of the WDA?
