Keith, the dog had an ear infection, so food not likely the prob. But the dog does swim every day, so that is prob the source of infection.
Vk, glad the infection is clearing up. GSDs love water and it's not easy ro keep them out of it. ;-)

keith was answered, 100% raw with some yoghurt and some occasional lower quality treats the dog likes ie processed meat rolls with god knows what in them.
diet has not changed and dog will be 3yo soonish yet first outbreak which suggest not diet related...?
for others lurking; seems carbs supply sugar to feed the yeast.
