Farah has a microchip as the SV now microchips versus tattoos...  A breed warden in Germany comes to inspect every litter and give each puppy permanent identification prior to the issue of the Annentafel.  In the USA, a special scanner is needed in order to read the microchip..  My veterinarians have this type of scanner that will read any type of microchip that is manufactured.... Farah was scanned at least twice to get all of the numbers correct and verified prior to the xray process.  I told you that I would help you with the process...It is not difficult, the only thing needed is a form that UScA sends out that requires a signature of the veterinarian stating that the dog was not sedated and was properly identified...  The owner of the dog at the time of the xrays must also sign this form...  When the dog was purchased this was not a requirement.  Now the signature form is required, and it is a very easy process.

I try to make sure that all of my dogs are placed in homes where they will be loved...While with me, all of my dogs are loved and cherished...I keep my retired dogs until their last day because I love them and they owe me nothing...

JUST BECAUSE SHE ISN'T GOING TO BE USED FOR BREEDING
DOESN'T MEAN I AM GIVING HER AWAY FOR FREE.  NO IT'S  NOT
ABOUT THE MONEY, SHE IS STILL A GOOD FAMILY DOG AND WILL
BE PRICED APPROPRIATELY.

Your not placing her in a forever home for free, but for $900.  "No, it's not about the money"??????  Really?  Since she has no value as a breeding cash cow, she will be priced appropriately.  Are you going to spay her first to ensure the next owner can not breed her?  Boy, your husband must be pissed that his backyard vagina ATM is out of cash.  Oh well, on to the next BVATM.   Geez, the more you say the worse it gets.

You can no longer send in x-rays of dogs who were not sedated. The new rule is that all dogs must be sedated for films. Those older x-rays are no good anymore, at least not for getting an a stamp.

I see, LTS. So, it's not a case of Farah's hips getting an NZ-rating from the SV and you think OFA would not have passed her--you've had new films done and even though you haven't sent them in to OFA, you've been convinced that they will not get a passing grade.

Nope. Don't buy that, LTS; under the circumstances, you have to know that story isn't going to fly, not without an official rating from an officially recognized authorization. After all, it wasn't but a few weeks ago that you told us all that Farah's xrays were on their way to the SV--now you say you changed your mind about sending the ones done @ 16 mos. of age out to the SV and decided to do OFA instead...So which story is correct?

Actually, you can send in the xrays without sedation IF the films were done prior to the new rule... The only reason I know this is because I had 5 of 7 films that were done without sedation prior to the new ruling.  The vet and owners had to sign this form from the SV (through USA).  Because 2 of the films were done when the new regulations, new protocol was taken.  I kept copies for my files of all the paperwork signed and when the films were taken...

I will check to see which date Farah had her xrays for certification at my vet clinic tomorrow...I know that she had prelims in Germany, prelims in the USA and then films for the a-stamp...

I am not aware of this, but it is something to look into. Thanks for the info.

Well guess what, Ramage asked LTS a perfectly straight question,
about the type of  Xray pictures so she knew how to talk her through
putting them on here ... and LTS rather than answer it went off on
another two posts of shouty rant, and took attention off the question.
Seen her do that before.  And people ask me why I can't take LTS
seriously ?

I also offered to help post the pictures. I told LTS that she may email them to me and I would post them for her, if she cant figure out how to do it. Havent heard back yet.

The chip from Germany on one of our females was scanned no problem by our vet. Nothing special needed. It is the same chip as petlink uses.
LTS, the chip was on the left side of her neck. That was where the breeder told me it was put. It did not migrate there. Until the vet looked there, the scanner didn't pick it up.

I think there is a lot more to this story. Aug. 6th she wrote on facebook (euro studs in north America) " Well I just checked my female dog again, and first day of bleeding. So now i'm in a hurry to find a male and one with excellent hips back 2nd and 3rd generations." And she gave her dogs name for people to look up her pedigree and it was Farah. More into the conversation she said she talked to a Shane from Vertraven kennels and she will be using one of his males.
1. Doesn't sound like LTS puts much research into finding mates.
2. I would like to know what happen with the male she said she was going to use.
Ok now she has a dog that is ready to drop a litter the 23rd of this month and the father is Ghost.
1.the female is Piper vom dach haus. I can't find were her hips are rated and by my calculations she had used Ghost before she even received his rating from OFA. xrays taken Aug 1st and results Aug 26.
What I get a kick out of is on her site Ghost is up for stud. Females requirments are the hips ofa'd or sv rated. But it is ok for her to breed her dogs with hips not being rated.
She also says she is self employed owner of Dach haus kennels. BUT IT IS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY?
She also advertises that she has 2 to 3 litters a year.
Now this is the same person who said she is doing things right for now on?
I think she realized more money is going out than she is taking in and she can't have that.
Now she has one 8 month old pup for sale or to trade for a female WL. Good thing she cares where her pups go.
BUT SHE HATES LIARS.
Steve
