Oh that's too bad it's not Teddy. Sorry, Trixx, don't give up. You may still get  him back one day. Stranger things have happened.

I'm so sorry that the dog wasn't Teddy. I was really thinking positive thoughts for Bea.

I feel bad for Bea.  I wish it could have been Teddy. I did not see this when it was on the news and wish there was a way to get the word out.  When Corey dropped Ruger off he had 2 other dogs in crates and now I wonder where they were going.   They said Ruger was around 5 yrs old but I think he is older.  Yes there are pics on my fb and Nitro page. I feel for anyone who got mixed up with this.  Heartbreaking.  At least Ruger is safe and I hope Bea finds Teddy.  She could contact the DASH Rescue and see if they had anyone else meet with Corey at anytime.  They have a fb page and the contact number is on there.  Bad thing is if I hadnt had questions about Rugers training and behavior, I dont think I would have known about the case.  I will put the word out as much as I can. Good luck to all that have dogs missing.

I hope you find your guy, maybe someone who gets him will try and research his tattoo, and trace him back to the kennel.. I had an experience with a missing dog, tattoos and a kind of strange ordeal a few years ago.. I don't know if you remember me, Leotta and Mystere, but you helped me locate the original breeder of a dog I had adopted through a "rescue", that I had thought was my lost dog that my mom was caring for in CA till I picked her up. The dogs were same age, color and the pictures I had that my mom sent me, were almost identical dogs.. I called girl from ad I had seen, the girl who got dog from shelter claimed she was picked up by animal control not too long after my dog came up missing..  But when I got the tattoo information for my dog, it didn't match. I had already brought the dog home, had her for few days, so instead of returning her to rescue, I tried to locate original owner, to make sure no one was looking for her.. It ended up that I was going to keep her as a pet, but there were some strange discrepancies with stories from the rescue. Funny thing, I believe it was Karma that since I tried to do right thing and locate owner, my original lost dog showed up 2 weeks later, running along the outside of my mom's fence.. Someone had kept her, even though we actively looked for her, contacted shelters, made lost ads, and fliers, called all vets in area.. She was in horrible shape and had a pyometra infection that caused us to have an emergency spay done on her, but at least she was home and I could stop worrying and care for her.. I really hope someone ends up with your dog and tries to locate his owner, the people on here jumped right in and helped me when I asked for help locating owner, it could happen again! Good luck :)
These are the two females on the ends, they were very similar to each other, and not having met my dog in person yet, I really thought she was my lost girl.. But in the end it worked out, even though she wasn't my original lost dog, she became part of the family!!
