Lovemydogs- It is truly wonderful that you are looking to do the right thing, by both the dog and his owner ,
I am waiting, as are many others,; in suspense to see if, hopefully Ruger is Teddy...

I'm anxiously awaiting too. It would be great to have a reunion. If he used the rescue to find homes for dogs he had. Would contacting the rescue to see if he placed other dogs through them be something worthwhile to pursue?

If it's not chipped and doesn't have a tattoo, I doubt it is Teddy. I hate to be the negative nancy, but Teddy was sent for Titles, to be titled they have to have ID, ID is chip or tat. If he has neither, I'd say it doesn't bode well that he will be teddy. Sorry.

Yes, but there have been incidental of chips floating and not being found where they were expected, and not all readers read every chip.
I know what I mentioned is not the norm, just really hoping trixx gets her dog back!

Fingers crossed, glad to see you made it here to ask! I went back to try to find the original place we met through to see if I could grab photo and bring it here, but could not find the posting. you know i hope this dog is Teddy, but i doubt it will be as teddy was already missing from cory before Dec. , but i always hope one day to find him , to this day there are no leads to what cory did with teddy , but my best guess is he sold him for a heafty price. Teddy was worth alot , i bet cory seen a gold mine with teddy. it is so sad that a person could ever do such a thing , but after this i learn not to trust all people.
Cory was very good at bringing you in , so i never would of ever thought he could do such a thing. major lesson learn here.

Lovemydogs: You are definitely QUALITY PEOPLE! Hopefully, Corey placed more dogs with a rescue organization, so there is hope that the dogs are at least well cared-for and loved.

Nope not Teddy, looks like a much older male GSD anyway. Looks like Bea saw his pic on there last week, what a heartbreak for her. I wonder if more people will begin to come forward that have either adopted or purchased dogs as this story grows more popular in the area. Remember, this woman said she only just heard about the story two weeks ago, I think we will see more of this too come, I pray.
