Anybody want to do another exercise?
This time it would be an exercise to pick the VA1 dog? Historically the VA1 is determined in advance of the show through the results of the offspring. In the past it was easy to determine who the winner would be by tabulating the results. The results were tabulated by Christian Lang and posted on his website. All you had to do was visit his website for a look at how the season was shaping up, see the results and there's your sieger. Basically we will have to compile and summarize the information as the show results are posted.

Hagadahls Figo isn't alive anymore, what a loss... :(
I think Nino is a good candidate for the Sieger, but he hasn't been shown a lot this year.
Mentos has a very nice progenygroup, I'm sure he will be placed high.
What about the females? There is one Dutch female (I'm from the Netherlands) who will gait to a top V, maybe VA position, but we will see...

And Labo just won last week in front of Mentos and Yankee under Herr Quoll at LG show in Kassel.....

Sorry Sevinchause Ustinov is in our Country don't think he is in Sieger Show and your listing - way out, but that is my opinion of course .......as usual Dog1 your information is always informative....

I think VA Enosch von Amasis is likely to do very well, he has super progeny and they have competed extremely well in 2013...he has good numbers entered in progeny group as has his father VA 1 Ober von Bad-Boll. He is proving to be excellent producer...there are certainly some outstanding entries this year...

Nobody will be VA-1! And not any other VA-placement. It was officially announced that there will be no more Sieger (VA-1) or placements within the VA-rated dogs anymore at all. Just like after the WW2 era (if I remember correctly), there will only be a VA-group as such. And Lothar Quoll will pick them according to progeny and bloodlines o course - because the official reason is that this will be helpful to widen the genepool!
