She looks full of mischief to me, not that it is bad!! Very pretty head and color! I did a search and came up with this site that say's "specializing in DDR working lines" and the kennel Wildsau is in the pedigree http://www.gillsgermanshepherds.com/frankaped.htm She doesn't look like a showline pup either so I wouldn't loose any sleep over what this lady thinks if I were you...

Krista, judging on your post... yes she will be very good for schutzhund work. You should really try to find a schutzhund club nearby. go to http://www.gsdca-wda.org/clubs.htm or http://dvgamerica.com/ to find a local club. I am interested in seeing some videos of her. If your puppy is in the process of lossing her baby teeth and getting her adult teeth in... I would stop all tug work, because the last thing you need is to have is for the dog to have a bad experience with biting a tug with lose teeth.

If she keeps that full calm grip, she should do well in SCH. Just keep her training up and don't break her drive.

Bluesky, I have an adult male from the same breeder..... S Kodiak v. Haus Cimmerian. Mr. Weiss is VERY reputable and I almost got a puppy from the very same litter as yours! The lady that argued with you is just ignorant! Get some pics of real show line dogs from here and print them off and show her what a show line really is! I hope you enjoy your new kiddo! Chip has extremely good dogs. Kodiak is--hands down-- the smartest dog I have ever owned......he is so smart it is scarry! People say that dogs cant reason but this one can!!! Vickie

If she's showline, I know a few other people that are going to be upset with Chip. Kidding....definitely NOT a showline pup. You see alot of V ratings in a DDR pedigree.

I agree...sad thing is though Vom Brunhaus, it was the kennel link you thought I should check out :)...I will say this, it is NOT the owner of the kennel that gave my baby the verbal lashing, it was infact, his daughter. I have NO hard feelings against the owner (in Germany) but his daughter kind of upset me...Okay, to be HONEST, she damn well pissed me off!!!!! :) The kennel seems like a good one, so I have NO hard feelings against them, just against the obviously weird info I was given...I will tell the name on ONE CONDITION, No one is to verbaly attack him, or his daughter (AGAIN, I have NO problem with him, never even spoken to him, he speaks only german, his daughter handles the Americans). I believe this kennel to have WONDERUL dogs, just maybe not the best translator! :) All was done, it was MY fault, I asked a question, one thing led to another, she asked what lines my puppy was from, and thats how it went. I don't remember her name, but the kennel name is Parchimer Land, and I have NO problem with them, just ONE person's point of view. I have been contacted by a wonderful person, who does PROVE Chip is EVERYTHING he claims to be, so that settles it.
