jdh, sent you link in email. He is KKL1 V1 and was V3 in seiger in cali 2003 I think it was. This dog does the work, he was on a huge SAR effort in Germany. Super super temperament, Damn well put together. and Produces himself over and over again. Look at his head shot and then look at Twister on my website, Same head !! Beautiful !

jake, if you insist on using a working line stud in the USA who is good looking structurally with a large head and has great joints and perfect temperament (totally sane dogs that can live with your family and excel in Sch also), then V Eagle Eichenluft is a good choice. If you do not limit yourself to working lines only consider Teejay of Wilhendorf (also in the USA) who carries a domuinant load of the genes for corrct temperament through VA Enzo Buchhorn and VA Nero Norbachtal (he went V-26 at the Siegerschau in germany this year and had one of the very best courage tests of any top competitors--This dog appears to produce great pigment and very correct working temperament as well as good proportions--this dog is likely going to turn out to be a top producer). Nero was a superbly moving dog with perfect working temperament and produced totally sane progeny also with great working ability).

hey guys what i meant was, working like stud that has great structure. anybody know a good working stud in Illinois that has good conformation? would get at a V rating at a show. thanks!

by JochenVGW on 14 December 2006 - 06:12

Hi Jake, Not sure what kind of "V" rating you are looking for. There are probably no workingline dogs in Illinois that would get a V at the BSZS. However, there is a great workingline stud in Illinois with excellent conformation. Kway vom Posthorn is KKL 1 and is one of the best working dogs in the country. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/327412.html also at www.kulladogs.com best of luck, Alan

Preston???? is VA Nero Norbachtal the same VA Nero vom Nöbachtal who was banned from breeding from SV for having elbow displasia and had an operation to fix it? I strongly discourage anybody from using this dog for breeding. By the way Nero did not participate this years siegershow, some of his progeny did.

by jdh on 14 December 2006 - 07:12

Nero did not have ED. He was banned for having a surgical proceedure on the "sly". The fact remains that he has produced very well and represents an excellent alternative bringing foreward the Mark Haus Beck line. I do not believe that anyone heeds Brittany's posts, but especially ignore this one as she knows nothing and is only trying to make trouble. By the way being prohibited from breeding he is likewise ineligible for the breed ring. Also of note is that Teejay has a very low ZW, excellent proportions and a very good croup. Preston, good info as usual. Best wishes, Jonah
