The 2 North American cases of BSE posed no noticeable threat to human health and population, and next to nothing of the health and meat of cattle. MCD reached epidemic era in parts of Europe because of a practice of feeding cattle with contaminated meat, a practice that was always rare in North America because of the ready availability of the alternative soybean meal and roughage. I just think it's a way to scare people into buying store bought meat only. It's all "hype". I would have never thought people would think deer were contaminated. My posts are just my opinion on the matter, sorry. Melissa.

Don't be sorry Melissa, You have nothing to appologize for. MCD is a modified spongiforum of CWD that is found in deep populations. Your not wrong, there is a minor difference in the spongiforum between CWD and MCD. I brought both of them up so that folks could relate and understand that CWD is also a spongiforum, like MCD. sorry for that confusion. :-)

Anyone tried buffalo bones? I just found a source for them! Low fat, low cholesterol, no preservatives or hormones and my dog goes nuts for them!

IF you soak them in celery spirits, you will be fine.

If anyone would like to try these buffalo bones shoot me an e-mail and I will see if I can send frozen. I am also wondering, given that they are grown with no chemicals, if they would be good for dogs with food allergies.
