Clean the crate with something like Nature's Miracle after he's peed in it.  When the dog pees in his crate, show it to him and give a stiff "No".  Before putting the dog in the crate, toss dog food on the floor of the crate.  They don't like to pee where they eat.

Thats what did helped me....

I use a raw meat 3-4 times a week to feed my dogs, so one day, I took a peace of chicken and spread all around a crate accept a spot she sleeps on.

it helped me for a couple of days, after  i have repeated same thing.
Now we don't have this problem.

Exactly what SitasMom said :)

"The Black and Tan is food aggressive and eats slow."

Baring any health problems - Give it 15 minutes to eat and take the food away util the next time you feed all the dogs.

Your dog will understand very quickly that guarding its food and not eating it will only give it an empty belly.
