I did not post everything I found, but if you google the telpehone number and lost dogs, there have been other dogs lost over the years as well!

hunger, Kathy & Tim are precisely who I was referring to--and for the very reasons you describe.  Kathy immediately got word out to her contacts in that area, and cautioned that trixx was going to have to stay directly on top of this, because all of this took place in a location where three different jurisdictions come together...so you can't really know which one would have become involved, and it's too easy for Teddy to fall through the cracks.

I really hope trixx is in transit at this moment, because I don't see this ending well unless she is on the scene and can be hands-on/boots on the ground right there.

I hope she is also in touch with an attorney, and the police - because I think she's going to need to deal with this "trainer" in a legal way.  Lost dog my foot.  It was either sold, lost a long time ago, or killed due to negligence.  Bet on it.

I'm not a gambling sort of person, Molly, but that's a wager I fear is likely an easy win...I'd gladly see that bet lost, though, as would any ethical, compassionate person if it meant that this dog got to return safely home to his owner and family again.

I know trixx has been in touch with the police in that area, and Kathy Wilmoth also reached out to them as well, so that should help in getting the patrol shifts to keep an eye out for him, but I also don't think he's going to be found trotting across some field as a stray dog...I'm hoping he's in someone's house, sleeping on their couch, if he's not ever going to be able to be found by trixx again.

well, with everything we have done to alert  everyone , there is no news on teddy, i still have alot of people looking, i wont stop till teddy is found,
someone knows where he is or what happened to him.
but i think you guys have a good idea, that he may not of really ran off.
i have a few idea yet, i am hearing some bad things that Cory has done.
i will say that cory did put up a few ads  online and even one he had to pay- so we will see. but he just did it yesterday.
yes my experience with Cory i cant say was good and the problem with me is i think everyone is honest.
i love my teddy and will do anything to get him home.
i will tell you  if any new news  is known.
thanks for caring, i hope this never happens to anyone , as it is so wrong to be treated this way.

please share everywhere-

Bea

I'm real sorry your dog disappeared. Hexe is right, you need to be in Ohio now.

Also you should offer the biggest cash reward for getting him back that you can afford. People get real loose lips when they can make a thousand bucks or more by blabbing. Again, Hexe is right, someone knows something.

by eichenluft on 07 December 2012 - 06:12

Cory should also have flyers with big, bold print and a clear color picture, posted on every stopsign at every intersection in the area - hundreds of them.  Also at every vet office, every shelter, every pet store and every training facility.  Ads in the lost/found section and pet sections of every local newspaper and online news feeds.  Radio spots.  He should have done this in the first couple days since Teddy went missing, and yes he should have paid for all of it.  The fact that he didn't do any or all of these things is a big hint that last Wednesday is not the day Teddy went missing, or running away was not the way he was lost.

by eichenluft on 07 December 2012 - 06:12

Hexe, I would also be thrilled if I am wrong and Teddy was indeed lost, found by someone and kept (because the trainer didn't start posting/looking seriously until a week later????)

bah humbug.
