Well I have bad news for you. Cory is facing 70 counts of animal abuse. I live out near this guy and have heard many horror stories. You need to run not walk away from this guy. See news link below.

JonRob, please be gentle.  I am sure Trixx had many hard lessons in all of this and has cried many times.  See the many posts she has done for Teddy over the past few months.  All we can all do at this time is give her the hug and shoulder for a tough time.

According to what was written prior in a post by hexe, I got the impression trixx had talked to the police about her missing dog, Teddy?  I am real curious as to what kind of conversation was said between her and the authorities, in light of the new charges brought against this Cory guy! It would have been right after the New Year that he starts up with, what....six new dogs, that were next in-line for starvation and filthy neglect? This just boggles my mind.

JonRob is feeling the outrage I did. I am not sure if trixx  just is a very non-confrontational type person or what, but this whole situation here has always had a missing sense of urgency, compared to my own.  I am sure she learned from this awful outcome, that part, I do agree with you, Fawndallas.  It would be hard to come away from something like this, without doing so.

How in the HELL, did dogs were in good shape in January, and mufman that the humane society was there and did investigation, everything was fine, go to numerous dead dogs, man on the run, etc.,etc.,
Man this guy sucks...
So, is it really worth sending your dog off to the unknown, for that much sought after, worthless, according to some, "paid for title"
I THINK NOT...

He turned himself in today but released on bond. Some articles suggest he was active in dog fighting and sold dogs.
Sad that people trusted him and now have pets missing and/or have pets that were neglected. I wonder how many people were told their dog ran away.  Please contact Fairfield County to report your dog missing.

Boy, people just can't win on this forum, can they? Bea wanted to breed her dog she had FROM BIRTH, but cared enough about the breed itself to have him titled first. For every horror story there are people out there happy with the work done on their dog. I title my own but I don't look down my nose on people who don't have the resources to do so.

Can we keep the blame where it belongs, please? No dog, or dog owner, deserves this. I can't imagine the horror and guilt Bea must feel.

And to think, when this mess started, there were people defending this guy, just like some of the other monsters we've seen around this board. Makes me sick.

I am so sorry for this nightmare and your missing dog, Teddy. I truly hope he is alive and well. This has nailed the coffin shut on my willingness to ever send my dog off to a trainer.

No kidding . Some people are ridiculous

by beetree on 20 March 2013 - 22:03

Well, that is the thing, is trixx a breeder or not? Didn't she mention something about Teddy having pups on the West Coast, already?  If I misunderstood that, then I apologize in advance.  Trixx, it did seem to me you accepted Cory's story of what happened to Teddy. Seeing the conditions you did, you did not get any misgivings or alarms? Did you see other dogs at all?

Not that any of this makes what happened to Teddy make any sense. I mean "dog fighting"? Let's hope that is wild speculation. The other thing I don't get with the timeline is the "rumor" on the third of Dec., about authorities stepping in. Except. Then there was nothing then, but a still missing dog!  And now, all those legal counts being named. Maybe it was a jurisdiction SNAFU. Who knows?

At least he turned himself in and the answers will begin, with any luck.

Dog fighting isn't that surprising, especially from this low-life clown.  The dog world is fraught with people who really don't seem to care about dogs at all.
