I actually have raised a puppy that mama dog was rejecting and put her on another bitch, smeared poop on the puppy of the new mama dog puppies and away she went. Grew up fine and when they were old enough to be all together (two litters at same time, born within hours of each other) I put them all together and the two mama dogs raised and played with all of them. Animal kingdom is fasinating isn't it and so innocent and intelligent. Both were good mothers. Would not have two litters ever again though, man is that work. Twice the worry, twice the cleanup, twice the good and the twice goes on and on. Good luck though and hope it works. Nan
