Aadilah, one word for you, BULLSHIT !
Have you ever hear of OFA?
Why don't you get a life.

PDB has changed their format and has put in place a space for elbow rating, which was not previously there.
Therefore, the data on many dogs on the website are not updated. If a person is genuinely interested in learning facts, instead of misinformation posted by, mellmell/aadilah/allenf, then I suggest going to the source of the ratings on each dog.

Shame Joanro, the truth hurts, doesn't it...By swearing and being vulgar here is only showing many people out there just what you are...
Come on, tell us what's the Hip and Elbow rating for your Adela vom Ron.....

Hey, you haven't ever posted any truth!

Aadilah07, can you provide the ratings of ALL of the progeny in these said breedings, to show that there is a consistent production of bad hips/elbows from a particular sire or dam or combo ?  If you don't have that information, all you are doing is randomly picking and choosing specific examples from multiple sire/dam combos where the results are used to fit your arguments.....which in turn is less than worthless, since you are also trashing respectable breeders, while hiding behind your keyboard and not revealing your identity.

Some of what you are posting is very clearly bordering on libel, with the intent to maliciously cause damage to somebody else's business, and it may not be a good idea to continue down that path without being very sure of your ground.

For the record, I would have no hesitation in line-breeding on Furo Kamos, since the overall package that he brings to the table, which includes a variety of things including temperament, hardness, solid nerves, genetically civil nature,  excellent health, extremely valuable genetics etc., is something I would be privileged to own. Does that cause you any consternation ?

PS:  Just to repeat, I am not a breeder and have never bred dogs in the past.  All I have are a couple of Czech-bred GSDs and a field Chocolate Labrador.  The Czech GSDs are all coming from dogs who originated from either the Jinopo kennels or sister kennels from the same region.

aaykay, go and do some homework on Furo progeny...I never said I don't like him but the stats speak volumes...

Why would I want to be malicious to this breeders business, Firstly, I don't breed often and secondly, I don't advertise so there's no competition Or anything....

I love Grim Z PS... but when you search Forums and the internet, some shocking things are being said...
People don't intentionally want to bring a dog OR a breeder down but the facts posted will always be a difficult pill to swallow...
You choose then to take the good with the bad...

No need to repeat, we know you have a couple of Czech GSD's and a field chocolate labrador...
Do more homework on the Czech GSD's while you're at it...

Aadilah, I do not know where you got your information but it is incorrect.
A simple search on the ofa database shows Axel vom Ron, Body Jipo-Me, & Diamond van den Heuvel (note the correct spelling of the kennel name) are all ofa certified elbows-in addition to hips.  Ofa also shows Arko (offspring of Body & littermate to Axel ) ofa good hips & elbows clear.  As well 2 offspring from Axel are listed ofa good hips & elbows clear.
As to Nelis Jirkova dvora if you are getting your information off the database it is unverified.  B/D sounds like the Slovakian hip rating & the elbow rating you gave would be Czech-which wouldn't make sense.  I would verify through other sources-someone might have entered it incorrectly.

Hereditary Bone & Joint Diseases in the Dog by Joe P. Morgan, Alida Wind, & Autumn P. Davidson is a good reference book that would give you correct information about hip & elbow dysplasia.  They give examples of injuries & show the later x-rays & show very clearly how an injury is indistinguishable from genetic issues.

As for Nelis z Jirkova dvora, her hips and elbows were rated in Finland. The b/d hips are Finnish rating and 1/2 elbows are also Finnish rating.

Guys, do we really think our time is best spent arguing particular ratings with those who cannot even spell the names and don't know how to check registries?

Adialaho7 and the other personalities are taking this entire forum on a snipe hunt.
