AllanF, here is what Joan said about her dogs w/ED, since you seem to have forgotten and are under the perception that they are somehow pertinent to this disussion:

And have you ever owned a dog with ED. I have..one of which had severe ED. And guess what? The dog never, ever even let out so much as a whimper and it had bilateral ED. Another one had severe unilateral ED and never let out a whimper. Neither one of those dogs was bred by me, and I won't tell you the blood lines, so don't ask. Don't even assume you know the breed, either.

I know of 2 dogs who have it right now and yes they were evaluated by the OFA and no I had nothing to do with eiother of them. Like Jenn don't ask cause I'm not telling. And neither of them show any signs, BTW they were out of OFA and a stamped parents. And as Joan said they don't scream and cower.

Neither one of you know much about the breed, I know that. A driven GSD is TUFF and even in pain will continue to want to work and play ball. I know cause I have seen it. I had a boy that never showed a sign and the vet said he was shocked he could walk. But he could damn sure run `100 mph to get to a ball or to intimidate a stranger.

Isn't it surprizing that both Joanro and Vonissk owned dogs with ED problems but somehow or the other the dogs were not bred by them and Vonissk is not telling but he is among the culprits pushing for more info on the Czech dogs...

Quit before you expose yourselves more...

Shame Joanro, what's the matter...can't handle it huh...

Hey Aa leave me out of this. You are making assumptions. I never said I owned those dogs because I don't. Read the post again. I said I knew of. I do know who owns the dogs but you're not going to bash her to death cause she doesn't have a dog in this fight. By the way I am a her. What's funny to me is you never had a dog in this fight either so how in the hell did you end up as head pot stirrer? As far as saying what I did about those Czech dogs--again you're not reading things right--I never said I was interested--what I DID say was until I see some documentation of all these claims I'm not believing anything.
You people get on here and bash away but you never have any proof of what you are talking about. I learned a long time ago everything on this forum is not true and that's why I am skeptical about these people who show up with one or two posts and want to bash away.
And while I have your undivided attention, you haven't a f****** clue about a lot you are saying. Like on the other thread telling that person their dog wasn't a show dog and you know nothing about UKC. You also know nothing about why the American SL people don't do ScH or IPO. There are some that do and they are name brand people not wannabes. Anyway so the way you answered in the other thread tells me you are just spreading misinformation. We need to encourage new people into the dogworld not discourage them. And being put down and spreading misinformation is the quickest way to do that. We were all new at one time................

There are some sick individuals appearing here...

Isn't there a spellcheck feature on this board anyway? I know I'm a bit anal about grammar and spelling, but when you're trying to make a strong argument, if you don't want to bother checking facts, spelling things correctly makes you look slightly more intelligent and may help fool those who don't know any better. Unfortunately, it won't help fool those of us who can spot a vindictive troll a mile away.

Posts like these make people do a research, stop, and ask questions. They serve a purpose.. teach that people need to do more than just read couple things here and there but look into resources that require little more digging.

People who read this will know to check the OFA site rather than pedigree database for accurate hip/elbow ratings.....for one.

allan, why all the deletes. You have made a nonsensical debate here for several pages based on a "study" that you go on to mis quote. Did you mis quote it because what the study said does not fit your agenda or because you really do not understand what the study is saying in the first place. I'm thinking the latter.

call me curious,
Rik
