Great pix!  Feel free to share anytime.  Ziggy lost his last baby tooth last night and weighed 49.4 lbs today at the vet's.  Growing up!

Love those pics, bee! I'm very interested to see what he looks like all grown up.

LadyFrost - the details of your dogs copying one another with the "down" command had me in stitches. I only have two dogs but the younger one has a mind of his own and I'll often have to repeat "platz" several times. My older female listens at the drop of a hat so every time I have to repeat a command for the male, my female does these exaggerated poses and eventually looks like she's dead. She tries very hard to please and it's soooooo funny to see her trying to bury herself in the carpet!

His eyes will depend on the reason he's blue. If he's blue because he ended up w/that gene from a GSD, they may be one way, but if he's blue because................................well, we'll just see how they turn out. Wink Smile Love that wide wide chest and sprung ribcage. Very cute.

Thanks Jenni, he is cute no matter what he is, isn't he?  Does have some good beef to him, that is true! Heart  I love a good mystery as much as the next person... but I sense perhaps you have a thought, and maybe even a bet on who's his daddy, lol....? Are you thinking pit or rottie, or chow.... perhaps... with that water repellant coat?

When he sleeps and his ears fall forward... he could be all GSD.... Wondering ... time will tell... Clock  In any case, Beau and Mojo do seem to be enjoying each other! (And there is no way he'd fit into that bag any more, lol!)

I wish I could find the pics of my friend's brother's oops litter between the working line GSD and the Pit. They don't look like much at that age anyway. Dad could be a GSD/Pit cross or something similar. I remember saying something about tail set when Steph first posted them and thinking that they sounded like Pit puppies when she described their activity. His wide ribcage is intriguing and of course the blue color w/the white feet and patch on his chest. I am very curious about how he will mature.

Love the picture where they are next to each other (Mojo does not look amused in 1st photo..LOL)....but it clearly shows how big he is next to a full grown dog....and those are some big paws....If i seen him on a street my guess would have been Rotty mix, pitt mix, maybe Great Dane mix except those ears are not rounded at the bottom but they do look too big to be rotty's or pitt ears...he may have inherited GSD ear size but not the stand up positioning...

well, keep posting those pictures, he looks a lot different now than when Steph posted pict.... :)

Oh I have no doubt Mojo will teach Beau all of it, opening the gates, best way to get attention, the list goes on.

As for learning the commands from each other, the roles are a bit reversed in my house.  Rose learned all of her commands in English and the pups are learning their's in another language.  I have noticed this week that Rose is obeying the commands in the other language too.

Just came back from the vets. Shots are up to date. We'll hold off on the chipping until later, but it is only $40, not the $100 others have mentioned. Weighed in at 22.3 lbs. Should be at least 70lbs grown, his opinion. Vet wasn't too keen on the raw thing... but I was expecting that! I was surprised when another gentleman there, said, "That's a German shepherd."  I wanted to give that man a prize!

Great check up, no mites, no fleas, stool was firm they'll call with any findings.

I think I see his eyes are changing from the outside... looks like they are going greenish-amber? Wishful thinking, maybe, still hard to tell for sure!

One mistake of mine though.... he crawled on the floor of the car and I thought he was being good, until I realized he just chewed my car phone charger for my Iphone in half! Dang it! LOL

Good job bee...23 pounds is a hefty puppy, who is well taken care of...:)

...are you trying to say that he wasn't being good by keeping his mouth occupied?...LOL wait till he starts teething...u gonna want to keep him mouth full of something u gave him versus something he found on his own 100% of the time..LOL..
That is how we had to replace 200+ vertical deck rails with Dozer when he was7 months old.

LF: Follow-up. I couldn't understand why our new house phone wasn't working... it was saying Base No Power, and then I saw the phone adapter plug had just been chewed! Missed that one, too! We just bought this phone, arrghh... I hope I can get a new adapter!  Omg SmileConfused SmileThinking
