Also i forgot to add is, if a person is inquiring about buying a dog from you there's usually 2 ways to instantly know which person is more interested in the dogs welfare. 1.If the 1st thing they ask you is the price. 2.If the last thing they ask you is the price. I wonder if you can work out which option i'd choose.

Watcher, while there may be some truth to what you state about the price issue, Some folks are on budgets and would rather not "waste" the time of a breeder if they're pups are simply out of they're budget range. I feel if someone asks about price for the "right" reasons then it can be considered that they are just trying to stay within budget, does not always mean they will be "bad" owners. But I hear what your saying too.

Hey, that's the first thing I ask of a breeder myself...especially in this breed where the price difference can go up to the thousands of dollars, I'd feel better if I know the particular breeder is in the proper 'range' I am willing to spend money on. I know some people tend to think, well, if the person isn't willing to spend money now, how about later...well I'd rather spend that 500 dollars I save on the dog's purchase price on the dog's supplies, if you catch my drift.
