Thank you for letting me know this fawndallas. That is a bit disturbing. I will send Kathy Cochran a message about this factor as that is actually huge. Who knows how much the Vet had taken in so far. And I think all should be listed in some way. I am so sorry. I am not at all the organizer. Just a person who became involved last Friday when I though she was an 11 year old he surrendered with unaffordable health issues. I thought possibly DM, or EPI or who knows what. But even when it became known on Saturday that he was actually a 1 year old she who has been severely abused the story and Grace still pulled on my heartstrings. Sorry your name is not listed. I am glad you have pointed that out. Even if they don't list the names at least a total at the Vet's office would be nice to be included. Although I believe all names should be listed. Gwen

fawndallas the totals received by the Vet will be included either tonight or early in morning on Grace's Web page. Kathy has assured me of this. Crossing fingers. And so glad you pointed this out. Montana Malinois and German Shepherd Rescue has offered to take Grace as she is "special needs" girl. But I think for whatever reason now the person Gerri and Kathy are being very particular where she goes and who will get her. That's very understandable. Grace has been through too much in her short life. She now deserves the best. I know one thing whoever gets her will have one heck of a wonderful dog. Even though she will have lifelong medical issues to deal with. Look for an update tonight or tomorrow am with Vet totals. Thanks again and bless you. You too are an Angel! Gwen

Side note on the vomiting:  If she continues to vomit undigested food, this could be MegaE.  I have learned the hardway through my litter about MegaE.

 

Thank you Fawnda. Indeed MegaE is yet another horrid disease. Apparently they have to lay sit a certain way for over 30 minutes after eating their food. It sounds terrible. I recently read a story about a GSD named Mariget who had DM in the course of DM developed MegaE. I have a friend who is very familiar with it. I am more familiar with EPI. Although my GSD's test result suggests he doesn't have EPI.:( He does have DM. He is seeing his internist tomorrow to have organs ultrasounded. I am very concerned about what may be revealed. He is absolutely not absorbing any nutrients.:( So worried about my boy. I will make mention of MegaE on the Facebook page. I need to google a good link about it. I missed that she is vomiting.
