Many times we end up with more dogs that we can properely care for or a dog that just doesn't fit in with the rest of the pack. Happened to me. In that case the best thing for the dog is to find her new home where she can get the attention she needs and deserves.

The situation described by the OP sounds to me like an accident about to happen and will probably result in a very unhappy ending for all concerned. Things may improve with some training, but the average pet owner is not going to be up to doing that. The GSD need to be in a home where she is the only dog or where there are no other female dogs. Otherwise................

Sounds to me like despite your best intentions, you have more dogs than you can handle since you saved the GSD pup. It may be time to re-home her for everyone's best interest..

Simple solution - --save your money on a freakin  dog whisper!!!---kennels with concrete floors ----Bark Collars!!!!    Make sure the dogs that are fighting are seperated when not supervised - and the dog that is digging wont be digging anymore with concrete........  if need be make sure there is a petition inbetween the kennels so they cant see each other.

Leaving the dogs out in the yard is not the answer - obviously!!!!  You can enjoy your dogs and your neighbor can be at rest from all the noise..........

Are concrete kennels and bark collars really a solution? You could also put your dog in your basement or crawl space. How about the attic? You could build an underground shelter similar to a tornado shelter that is sound proof. You could duck tape the dogs mouth closed and then it can't bark or bite, that would be the two birds with one stone approach. Duck tape the legs and now we have a solution to the digging problem also.

Why should any dog have to live in a kennel because the owner doesn't know how to handle it? How about TEACH the owner how to handle the dog. I am sure the OP is capable of learning how to handle these dogs it is a matter of priorities. Can't believe people think kennels and bark collars are a solution. Finding the dog a new loving home where it can be a family member is a much better option than a life in prison.

Kennels and bark collars won't FIX the problem and will likely cause more frustration and anxiety because you are not dealing with the problem.

Rehome the GSD for gawd sake.

I will speak in the name of the neighbor - get this situation under control IN ANY MATTER necessary ASAP. He is right to be afraid of your dogs and he is right to be afraid of the well being of the 2 year old daughter. He should not throw cold water on your dogs (even though that technique works miracles in shutting them up) but call POLICE. There is only a piece of fence between him and his family and yours out of control pack of dogs.

I'm sorry to say that one of these days, your GSD will dig under or jump over 6' privacy fence and then you will have to respond to the neighbor, Court and God for your negligence...
