Interesting brynjulf. But I really don't understand why they didn't just use a poodle? The brains of a poodle and the coat of a Golden? Every one of these dogs I have encountered always looks like a mess. Like a dog I wouldn't want to touch.
Today I met one that is a "miniature"
. He was at my son's school and I had my 3 month old GSD with me. This dog was a retired breeding dog and he tried to bite my puppy. I guess that is the temperament you get when you are only breeding for small. I just am not a fan of these dogs and I have yet to met one that I like. Most of that probably has to do with the type of people that get these dogs.
