Fabian Mittelwest was the recent Universal Sieger. Dasko Arlett was the WDA Universal Sieger a few years ago.

Any showline K9s? or K9s that show?

KYLE

How about a few video clips of them working. I have the Family Treasures video from the '03 or '04 US Sieger show. I can not tell you how dissappointing the grip work was overall. There were a couple that performed admirably. I've heard the grip work is improving. As Missouri license plates say "Show Me!" Kyle

I think this is part of the point people are making - top show dogs don't often get out and trial. Either they are 'rusty', weren't trained well in the first place, or just don't work well. Any of those could be reasons the Seiger Show performance test is so disappointing for people who are looking for a dog that can bite well. The list above gives some show dogs that are at least out there trialing, not just with titles from on another country, on paper. I would venture that if these dogs went to a SS performance test, they would look much better in the bitework than much of what else is there. Just a guess.

You also have Laius vom Moorbeck who placed V19 at the BZS and competed twice at the World Champs. I imported a Schh3 female in whelp to Laius - the best thing I ever did gave me very good type and character with excellent hip/elbow scores. This mating was the foundation of my kennels here in Oz.

LaPorte, you have asked for a "showline" K-9. Here you go: Jaeger vom Silbersee, multiple V-rated at different shows and (I believe four) Sieger Shows, a "showline" and active duty K-9. Jaeger was honored for this at the 2005 NASS in Pittsburgh. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/345897.html His Father, Alex vom Haus Dexel, was also an active duty. It runs in the family. Another K-9 "showline" by the same handler: Ruger vom Haus Dexel. If you want contact info for Jaeger's owner, please send me a mail. Another active duty K-9 "showline", who I had known and trained in our club (Greater Washington) in the early 90s was Tom Harding's Dino. I don't remember Dino's registered kennel name.
