Prosy??? DH I understand you are a dog broker, that is not the attitude I would like to deal with in someone who is selling a dog to me. I also hope that others would not accept nor deal with that attitude either.

Thank you John. And also thank you Imran. Always nice to hear from some real and sincere folks who do not feel the need to hide behind anonymity. Prosy, if you have something to say to me, show yourself and face me straight on. Otherwise its nothing but anomymous, mindless and cowardly blubber, which this board has seen way too much of.

Daniela- you GO girlfriend!! Never can understand people getting so bent out of shape over "non-issues". You are the voice of reason.

I do not reply to many issues that are posted here ,because alot of the time its not about learning newbies it about egos, who is right and who is wrong, but i have to reply to this ,my father was in germany in ww2,and when i was a kid the love i got for gsd was from the storys he told me about friends he made and there dogs and what noble dogs they were so if at this time with what was going on in there life, but i never heared one word uttered about hate,it was about new freinds, and there noble dogs..so the lesson i learned is there are new friends to make and more new noble dogs to see .......thats just me rick...

I can only confirm that the one brother does come to CT and does handle dogs at local shows. He did not make any attempt to "mix" with the other people so I cannot say anything about him other than I thought it strange to have someone come all the way from Germany to handle at a "local" show. But whatever. I also know of a few dogs that my friends own that were trained/handled/shown by them. But that being said, consider the sources of reference and move on. If it works for you, go for it, if not, find another way and enjoy the success of your dogs.

as usual a stupid comment without any proof, from somebody who hides his name and e-mail-adress!

If that is the case, the whole world should hate each other with ALL OF THE MEANNESS, AND KILLING done to all! INNOCENT people have been killed by mad men's dreams of WORLD DOMINANCE by race or religion, or greed! No, The USA is far from being perfect, but where do people come to find their dream? AND FREEDOM? See how rumors start!! Dawn Bonome

Sue-Ann

It has always burned me to see the posts marking updates to the site. It was the older man, Friedrich Lang, who had such distate for Americans..."no dogs to the USA!" Direct quote, well remembered believe me. And when I told him of a dog from him already here in the US, imported by a German woman, he again made clear he HATES the Americans. Maybe old news, but certainly not gossip, and something I will never forget. Maybe I should have kept this to myself, but honestly my American heritage and sense of comradery won out. I'm sure the newest generation may have different ideas, than the father had, but trust this kennel is founded with EXTREME prejudice against Americans.

Sue-Ann, your american heritage, unless you are a native, started in the old world... Everything you said and stood for in your earlier years still valid today? Friedrich died in 1998. The web was already very active back then, so shall we go back another decade? Stop living in the past. People like you are not helping when the world needs to move forward. Most of all: Should I look at YOUR father to see what kind of person YOU are today? BULLSH*T!

In 2004 we visited Arkanum Kennels with a group of Americans on a Sieger Show tour. Robert Lang, his wife and their entire kennel staff were so warm, gracious and kind to us. The kennel was absolutely the nicest one we visited. Very clean, spacious and the dogs well cared for. The kennel office was modeled after a small house so the puppies could be socialized in a "home environment". Their love of the breed was quite apparent by the way they treated and spoke of their dogs. We will never forget their hospitality and they have a standing invitation to stay with us if they ever make it to California. Having traveled quite extensively I have seen first hand how Americans can be percieved as rude, obnoxious and very opinionated. Actually, one need not travel to see it- just read this board! I have experienced, in more than one country, being quite embarrassed by the behavior of a fellow American. We are all so blessed in this country and seem to have a lack of gratitude about it. Also, I have a few rather "interesting" characters in my family and thank goodness I am not judged based on their antics!!!!
