what words did I put in your mouth. I've read back through and I don't see anything I've accused you of saying. please point it out to me. I don't need to put words in your mouth, you put them out there yourself.

maybe I misunderstood you and I will apologize if so. or maybe you just hop around to whatever position you want to take for the day. one day it is very sad to be an American, because some scum bag abused a dog and the next day it is great to be an American.

and please don't misunderstand, this has not reached a heated level.

Where did I say I live in a horrible country? I said people here do horrible things as well, is that not a fact? By your links you seem to think I believe no ill falls of animals in China, I already stated my feeling on the cruelty that occurs there. And do you really expect me to click on a PETA link? Come now, my long standing respect for you is starting to deteriorate if you're going to site PETA in your arguments.

We all know they eat Dogs and Cats in China and the way they treat animals in general is not what happens in the USA or Europe.
But what is the pioint of being so indignant about how they carry on, there culture is far different and to them Dog and Cat meat is the same as Cow or Pig meat to us,
Okay there culling and treatment methods are not good but they do not think of the animals as we do, it has been going on for a long time over there, it will be a VERY long time before it ever changes if at all, It is a case of Biting the Bullet so to speak

isn't that edit button great when one wants to sing a different tune.

it may be hard to believe but i do have the minimal l intelligence required to understand it is a different culture, and honestly, it does not offend me if dogs are considered a food source in some countries. but that damn black and red rug sickened my heart and then the latte sippers like isengard, who say we are the same in the U.S. made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

and I do not give a damn what is acceptable or how many many thousand years it has been going on, I do not have to find it acceptable.

None of us find it acceptable but it is the way of the People nothing we can change that at the this particular time,
It is not for us to tell or dictate how other cultures live there lives, If that was or could be enforced then we would be no different to what we were doing to those people  to what they are doing to Dogs and Cats at the present time.
It is the way of the World remember Humans have been slaughtered in as near the same way as these Dogs and Cats over the decades and many of them could not help themselves people on here are not up in arms over those sort of practices
