What VM said! Its time to STOP pumping out great working litters and placing the ones that don't have working HOMES waiting for them in pet homes that will dump them when they can't handle them anymore. Hell, the vast majority are neither tattooed nor m/chipped, and out of the few that are, most of the breeders want nothing to do with them once the check's been cashed. Sickening!!!

Its time for working and show line breeders to step up to the plate. At the VERY LEAST, for every litter produced by a breeder, one needy dog should be rescued, rehabbed and re-homed by that breeder, and a good portion of the proceeds of the litter donated to rescues and shelters.
Hey, if you have the space and time to breed dogs, you have the space and time to rescue them too. In this economy, its the least you can do.

Bhaugh, I didn't realize he was still in there!  If you still want to pull him, I can still pull him and hold him until you pick him up.  I guess his owner never picked him up!  vonschwartzgsd@yahoo.com

Go ahead bhaugh. I cannot do it. I have the direct line to the guy I spoke to about him yesterday, Ron, at Downey. He is very helpful, really wants to see the dog rescued or adopted ASAP. His time is past up, due out date was 3/15! He is neutered, and being treated for an upper respiratory infection, but said to be over it after 10 days of meds.
