For those talking of "panels" between the kennel walls. As long as you have two wals, (outside wall to kennel A and outside wall to kennel B) then you can put a panel in between. But if one wall serves the divider wall for two kennels then you can't.

You can use things such as metal roofing panels, the material like "guard railing. Just secure them on top of each other. You can use any sheet good material that will hold up to the elements. Since the panel is "between" the two walls the dogs can't get to to it.

You don't have to run the heigth all the way to the ceiling because the original purpose I would think is so the dogs can't make eye contact with each other and start crap.

Also, for vertical panels or walls I have seen kennels made out of the lower half (or as high as the dog can stand/ and look) being cinder block and the upper half  being rebar. Materials are somewhat cheap just labor intensive laying block and welding unless you can do those things well.

"I have both the Magnum and Preifert kennels. Mine are rusty too. The powder coating is not for exterior use. Galavnized is the way to go."

The Priefert panels ARE galvanized under the powder coat, and like I said, mine have held up nicely for several years (in lower humidity Colorado and Montana outdoor climates.)

POWDER COAT FINISH over GALVANIZED 8 gauge, 2\~ x 4\~ welded wire and 1.66\~O.D. GALVANIZED tubing frame.
