Kelly M Shaw

We have used it on our dog's food for years now without any issues. My mom took it and still takes it. She had cancer and lost her hair. It helped grow her hair back faster than any shampoo product. It helps grow nails and helps with joints like someone already mentioned.

I have not given it to the Dogs but i have given it to racing pigeons for a very long time at least 4 years and it keeps them or helps keep them well and they Win long Races up to 700 plus miles. and i very often in the week take a good swig myself. I am still around, It  may make you a bit fiesty as some have found out in the past, But i think it cannot do no harm but perhaps a lot of good

My dogs have been on this for about a year...so have I. I take it every morning with some juice. Neither myself or my dogs have had any issues being on it.

Wow Steve I always thoght you being fiesty was your personality!  do not stop taking it then! I will start having some myself! I use it mostly for flea and tick prevention in the house ! I have never heard of any long term debilitating effects! I have been using it for one year and have discovered it is far safer than chemicals and far cheaper too! And it is super fast and effective! I wonder if someone could package it and sell it on line as an alternative to POSIONIOUS  CHEMICALS!  I wonder if Al Gore would underwrite the investment since it is a totally green project and extremely enviormentally safe!

Raymond's post reminded me that I use it in the summer for fleas and ticks as well...this WINTER has my brain clogged!!! I mix up a spray bottle of it (mixed with water) and use that instead of the chemical topicals. Last year was my first year using DE for this and I got very few ticks off my dogs. I live in Wisconsin and typically ticks are horrible in certain months.  The DE is not harmful to them like the commercial flea products but your Vet won't make money of it so they will always recommend Frontline, etc.
I have a Bi-Color Female, Solid Blacks and Dark Sables...the DE when sprayed on does leave a white filmy look on their coat...but really, if that's the worst of it vs. chemicals that have caused acidic type burns down my Border Collies backs and one BC to go nearly paralyzed...then I'll go with the white filmy look!

Another good thing for animals and humans is Heartsease, Viola Tricolor. it is the wild pansy which grows in the hedgerows. I dried it like tea and brew it up add a littlesugar let it get cold it goes like a weak syrup leave for a month and take a swig every day. When i used to practise Martial Arts i was very much knackered when i got home, one swig of that and the heart beat came back to normal twice as fast. It keeps the heart cavity free and  is good for birds and Dogs as well as humans
Have not been able to get it over here where i am now
