Sita's Mom,
She's not talking about a posting on the PDB.  Its on the breeder's website.

Contact akc or the  listing agency who has the pedigrees and the litter info...then start legal letters..I am not sure what you are saying...I thought you were the breeder of the litter. if you own the dogs..???
ASK THE PERSON WHO POSTED IT WHY???

thiS IS WHAT YOU POSTED

I own Birko......have since he came into the country.......the Birko/Xilla litter was bred for and whelped at my kennel. That is not the correct litter number, period. I just do not want people thinking they are getting the Birko "line" when they are not. He is one of the few DDR dogs that does not carry Sven. Just trying to keep the record correct.

WHO IS I?  IF YOU BRED IT IN YOUR KENNEL  THEN YOU HAD TO SIGN THE PAPERS AS AGREEING YOU WERE THE OWNER OF SIRE...

LOST ABOUT WHY OR WHERE THE WRONG NUMBER IS... CORRECT IT ...IF YOU OWN THE LITTER AND IT WAS BRED AND WHELPED AT YOUR KENNEL...THEN YOU HAVE HALF THE RESPONSIBLITY...

IF YOU HAVE THE CORRECT NUMBER   WHERE IS ALL THE PAPERWORK....TELL WHOEVER TO CORRECT HER ADVERTISEMENT NO MATTER WHERE IT IS...

It sounds like what she is saying that her dog was only bred once but the breeder is claimng 2 litters.

Please clarify.

To make a long story short....
Years ago I was contacted by Judy Malone to "help her out".  This led to me traveling to get Xilla....on a promise of a co-ownership.  The co-ownership never happened.  While at my kennel...the Xilla/Birko breeding and whelping took place.  I know the resulting litter number.... the one posted on her web site is incorrect.  When Xilla FINALLY left here for Texas.........she did not live long enough to produce another litter.

I do not care to..........nor will I contact Judy Malone about this matter......will be energy wasted.  She taught me well...........NEVER listen to anyones "sad stories".  Run the other way when the talk of a co-ownership starts.  For you people that only need a "heads-up", this is it.  Do your homework before you deal.

Also like to say that people should insist on some sort of contract to keep things on the level. When someone wants you to sign over AKC papers ahead of time without a contract, before they will "work with you", then that should set off all the alarms. I know of a reputable guy who gave frozen semen to an "expert breeder" with no contracts and all his AKC privileges already signed over, who he thought would help him, with the "promise" that he would get half the litter. The semen owner allegedly found out for certain that there were three pups registered, and I believe that there is a fourth one, as well. Semen owner says he got nothing but bullshit runarounds and excuses and lies. Breeder allegedly said the pups were sickly, etc. He kept all of them and brags about them, showing nice photos, like "Look what I got". Just cover your ass if you do anything like this. I can tell you from my own experience that after people get what they want, they are so "outa here". You find out over time who is going to be fair and honest with you, and treat you with respect. If you find a good friend in the dog world, keep them and treat them good.
