Since I am awake,..

I slaughtered Icelandic ponies for my dogs,     old horses that would otherwise have been sold to the slaughterhouse.
I fed my dogs raw meat.    Every judge that saw them commented on the lack of plaque on their teeth and shining coat.  The meat is very fibrus and hard to  eat.

I  wouldn't have given them anything else..

Hi Doc, I agree, a lot of different advice. My position is I hate suppliments, a pony would be great. I believe you can feed well and add natural products that supply everything you need for good health and the dogs will get much more out of eating it. Many extra benifits over suppliments. Fiber being one benifit, taste being another, dogs eat better when they enjoy it. Take the dog for a swim. Ponies......... I wish I had ponies. Moons.

Too much supplementing;  I do not recommend that on a growing puppy.  Just good diet should really do it with adding chicken feet and chicken wings;  the chicken legs are really hard so be careful with those.  If he just naws of the meat, pick up the bone from chicken legs.  He can eat the cartlidge OK but bones in legs are extremely hard.  Best of luck  he's a nice looking boy.  Nan
